About Sno-Flake at Tahoe

Sno-Flake at Tahoe is a popular, family-friendly spot known for its delicious burgers and classic ice cream treats. The restaurant has a cozy, old-school character and has recently been remodeled, with improvements in food quality and portion sizes. Visitors enjoy the bacon cheeseburger and Tahoe fave with mushrooms, praising the freshness and the love put into the veggies. The burgers are filling, and the fries, especially the regular ones, are well-liked, though some find the curly fries hard. The shakes, including chocolate malt and boysenberry, are a favorite, though some say they taste like vanilla and lack berry flavor. The small cone is notably large, making it a good value for families. The patio can be slippery, so caution is advised. Despite some minor issues like pricing and service, many appreciate the local, family-owned atmosphere and the friendly vibe. Sno-Flake remains a beloved spot to enjoy simple, tasty food and treats, especially for families and those seeking a nostalgic experience.

Their burgers are delicious and the ice cream, perfect finish 👍🏻

Great little local business.

Google says they close at 8pm. We got there at 7:46pm and they were closed. I get if you want to say the kitchen is closed early for actual food but stay open for ice cream - especially in a tourist town. We ended up going to another close local place and they were packed - probably because ya closed early!
