“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

“Great food for brunch, nice vibe overall. French toast was delicious, hash was good, chilaquiles were just OK. My only criticism is that I dislike high-top seating, and this restaurant has a lot of it! Luckily the host was able to offer us a regular table instead of the high top after promising we'd finish in an hour—which worked out perfectly given we needed to leave for a show.“

“Ordered via Doordash.
I got the chicken katsu curry with extra raw cabbage (free) and a side order of menchi Katsu (round in the picture). The chicken katsu was pretty good, the breading was fried a little too long for my liking and thicker than the thinner panko breading that I've had elsewhere. The curry roux is good and I wish there was more without having to pay extra for it. This is my first time trying menchi Katsu and it has a thick, almost hard breading which I didn't like- inside it was soft meat and cabbage filling similar to a pork and vegetable bun. I don't think I would get the menchi again.“

“What a surprisingly sweet lunch spot. The food was fantastic and the owner was really friendly and easy to talk to. I had the daily soup and the homemade meatballs - both excellent! Lots of fun signs on the walls too. Don’t let the tvs inside deter you. The owner is more than happy to change the channels (especially for your kiddos) or the mute them.“

“I came here with a friend one day for lunch (we had been looking forward to coming to Sarap Shop for a while and were finally able to align our schedules for a weekday, since the hours here are somewhat limited). I ordered the lechon carbonara since all of the dishes here with lechon appeared to be a popular choice online and this seemed like interesting take on dishes that were familiar to me, a fusion of Italian carbonara and Filipino lechon. To be honest, the dish was a tad too oily and salty for my preferences, but also so tasty! I ended up finishing most of it and bringing the rest home since it was a generous portion and a good balance of toppings/mix-ins and noodles. I'd look forward to ordering it again in the future.
The location was a bit... uncertain at first. Sarap Shop is located down a side street off of 4th St which is convenient if you're heading down to a game or concert. I went there from 3rd St and was a bit confused since it just looked like a residential area, but there it was! The red garage door (see other people's pics) was open so the business was indeed open, but my friend and I were confused at first since there was no one inside and it took a moment to realize we needed to order by QR code online. That was all fine, just a bit unexpected. (Other customers and delivery drivers that came in after us looked similarly confused by all the closed doors and closed serving windows inside, so perhaps they just need better signage for these cases?)
Overall a good experience and I look forward to another visit here and the chance to try something new :)“

“This is my go to place for takeout when im sick or hungry/lazy past 930pm. I always get the kimchi soup with pork belly, seafood pancake, kimchi cold noodle, and more pork belly. Their banchan also includes a crunchy mustard seaweed noodle that is so addicting.
This may be my favorite korean restaurant in the city.“

“I have tough standards for a Rueben sandwich, originally being from NY. This sandwich was outstanding! Automatically coming with Pastrami instead of Corned Beef is not usual, but definitely my preference so that was great. Thick slices conveyed the rich flavor. The rye bread did not have the usual caraway seeds, but had great taste.
I would have this sandwich again.
The Grove has a good atmosphere with funky decor and some classic Rock and Roll images.“

“My spouse and I stop by every once in awhile, Charlie's really nice and we come with friends or without them. Beer service and food all really good and a great addition to the Castro especially when some of us want to be able to talk when we are not looking to dance.“

“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing“

“Tbk was not spicy enough, but I suspect they might have lowered the spice level to accommodate the majority customers who aren't used to the spice level.
Overall, taste was great, but the price is a bit high since you don't get that large of portion.“
