“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

“Tonight was probably 5th or 6th time we have brought out of town guests to Hazie’s and yet another impeccable meal loved by all - the 4 of us shared the Oaxacan Cheese Fundido, a Caesar Salad, roasted Salmon with risotto, Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak with Chimichurri sauce, fries and addictive flash fried broccolini, and a Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. We had prompt helpful service and the added joy of meeting the chef (Joey Altman) who stopped by the table to introduce himself and check on things personally - so welcoming and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back.“

“Wanted to like this place more. Dosa Box is one of the ghost kitchens in San Mateo Food Mall. Ordered from the website for pick up. You get a text when it's ready, go inside and check in with the worker who is at the desk. They open the locker for you where the food is placed.
Our dosas were completely soggy. Would have been very good if it was still crispy. Although it makes sense that dosa would not be a good take out item. They could've poked holes in the box or put the masala potatoes separate instead of inside the dosa to maintain crispiness.
Also just a note if anyone was wondering, the masala dosa comes with sambar (since the menu is not clear about that).“

“Killer casual Japanese curry in the Mission district. The signature curry bowl was a slam dunk (we tried both the pork cutlet and chicken katsu — slight preference for the chicken). It was pretty sweet but the table had five different spices to add in, making it easy to get exactly the level of fire you want.
The portion was generous and since they don’t have a large menu, the food came out quickly. It’s a killer spot for a warm homey meal if you need food and you need it STAT.“

“We found this deli by luck! We decided on the Hayes Street Veggie Sandwich and were completely star struck! The Sandwich was delicious, the store was kitschy and warm, and the owner was sweet and talkative without being overbearing. Highly recommend this San Francisco icon.“

“I tried the vegan sisig and it was incredible and such a great value. The service was fantastic, the restaurant is very clean, and the vibes are chill. I don't normally post reviews but seeing as how few there are for such a great place I had to spread the word.“

“My husband and I actually door dashed this on a night in while visiting San Fran. I am a huge tofu soup fan but it’s always either too spicy or just water. There is never a perfect in between… until Ollei! The spice was perfect, just a little punch without it being too over powering. And with it being door-dashed it travelled well and was still warm when it arrived. The only complaints I have was there was hardly any beef in my tofu soup and it was very oily. I cannot speak to the service or atmosphere as I never physically went to the restaurant.“

“We came to San Francisco for the first time as a family and was recommended to come to this restaurant by the hotel. There was a short walk from our location at the palace. As soon as we got there, the owners brother greeted us and walked us through the menu, giving us insight of what was homemade, which was practically everything. That was impressive. The food was awesome and healthy and very fast. It was a casual environment, but They had things like champagne, which was awesome For the grown ups. The owner and his brother personally checked on us several times and even the gentleman taking our order was friendly and had a lot of fun with my kids. The other waitress had her own personal stash of crayons and coloring books she offered for my five-year-old. All-around great restaurant you must check it out when you come to San Francisco!“

“They have the Best Comfort food,
Their Tocino, Lugaw and Tokwat Baboy, Porkchops with Rice, Pinakbet with Bagnet and Chicken popcorn are Amazing.
Also, Mochi Donuts are Absolutely elite in quality, texture of mochi donut is superb.
If you’re looking for that perfect balance of a crisp exterior and a beautifully chewy, bouncy texture inside, this is the spot. I stopped by to grab a half-dozen, and they absolutely crushed it.
The shop itself has a super clean, aesthetic layout—perfect for a quick Instagram story before you devour them. The staff was incredibly friendly and packed everything beautifully, ensuring the glazes stayed pristine.“

“Tbk was not spicy enough, but I suspect they might have lowered the spice level to accommodate the majority customers who aren't used to the spice level.
Overall, taste was great, but the price is a bit high since you don't get that large of portion.“

“Located in downtown San Mateo pretty close to the movie theater parking structure. And it is close to ritual tea, Molly Tea and other bubble tea places, very convenient. I like to come here to get my Malatang fix. The traditional pork bone soup is pretty good and it is not as expensive as the other place in downtown San Mateo. Still offers pretty good variety.“
