“Found Ben’s fast food on yelp with great reviews for healthy fast food. Surprised to see this wasn’t a restaurant but a food prep kitchen that focuses on to go orders. Very automated and efficient. Food is healthy, delicious and beautiful. Would order the slow roasted chicken mixed grain and salad bowl again. Generous portion, reasonably priced.“

“Afternoon tea, watching the rain outside.
The best experience among foreign meals, the sweetness is sweet, the sour vinegar is very special. The flavors blend just right.
Highly recommended, one of the restaurants I will never forget“

“It's a basement food court, so you're not here for the ambiance or a 5-star meal. I went to Katsuya after work and got the shrimp sammie, cheese balls, and the cheese corn dog. While the sauces for the sides were too sweet for me, the sandwich was great. The bonus is the location because it's close to BART, and you can hit the tiki bar across the street for dessert. ?“

“Social Eatery food hall is a gem located in Millbrae offering a variety of Chinese cuisine all in one easy-to-reach location. Social Eatery has a parking lot for patrons, which makes dining in easy. Upon entering the food hall, patrons will be guided to a table, and provided with a tablet on which they can place their orders from a variety of establishments contained within Social Eatery. After the order is placed, a staff member will bring the food and beverages straight to your table! When it's time to check out, you can either do so via their app/online or request a staff member to come and help you close out your bill.
Social Eatery has the following 3 restaurants within: (1) Noodleosophy - a local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes; (2) Rice Monster - specializing in Catonese claypot rice; and (3) Grapeholic - a tea shop with grape-centered drinks to round it out.
We came here on a Saturday afternoon looking for a one-stop shop for our weekend lunch and decided to try something from each one of the establishments - after all, isn't that the beauty of food halls? We got the beef tendon noodle soup and prok and shrimp dumplings from Noodleosophy, the cha siu and steamed egg claypot rice from Rice Monster, and finished up our meal with two drinks from Grapeholic - cotton candy grape slush, and grape and lemon tea.
(1) Noodleosophy - the beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole.
(2) Rice Monster - the cha siu and steamed egg clay pot rice was in a single word - satisfying. The salty-slightly-sweet cha siu paired well with the mild flavors of the egg, and the salty soy sauce you pour over the rice. I will say the rice could have been a little more scorched to provide the accompanying crunch that you expect from this dish; however, if you're really craving claypot rice and are in the area, then Rice Monster will definitely help satisfy that craving for you.
(3) Grapeholic - the cotton candy grape slush was amazing - true to it's name it captured the cotton candy grape flavor in a delicious slush form that was both sweet and refreshing. The grape and lemon tea was also good; however, the lemon flavor was a bit overpowering and made it difficult to truly enjoy the grape that was in the drink. If you want grape to be the star of the show, then I'd recommend getting one of their grape-centered drinks instead.
If you're ever in the Millbrae area and are looking for a great lunch spot, then Social Eatery has to be the next place on your list!“
“Went here for a light lunch and went with a salad from here. They had a nice selection of greens and toppings to add to to your salad. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. Quality and freshness guaranteed. ??“

“The sushi presentation was excellent and made me excited to dig in! Very unique and delicious assortment of sushi and flavors. I felt that the takeout sushi was more economical than if you were do a sit-down omakase at another location in the bay. Pick-up was quick and smooth.
It would have been great if I had recieved confirmation email within a week, instead of following up with the business. However, I understand that this a small business and it can be hectic for the owner to manage communications, logistics and sushi prep for several customers.“

“If you're visiting the San Francisco zoo and planning to have something to eat: either dine in or takeaway, I suppose you wouldn't have much of a choice in terms of eateries. This cafe is pretty much it and you'll have to make do with whatever is available here.
I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and it was almost empty although as time progressed, I saw more customers. There is plenty of seating available: both inside as well as outside. You can order via the self-service touchscreen. My order of hot dog and fries was ready in literally 2 minutes. I understand why: they just put the hotdog in the bun and give it to you. The sauces (barbeque sauce, tomato ketchup), mayo, yellow mustard etc are kept separately in big plastic dispensers and you're free to add whatever you want as many times as you may require.
The cost could be slightly less: I paid around $17 for the 2 items and felt it was more than what I would pay at a standalone cafe. I suppose they charge a small premium as they're based within the zoo premises. Maybe that is standard practice.
There are refrigerators stocked with cold fizzy drinks and there is also a separate area vending hot drinks like coffee which I did not try. They also serve the Bay Area specialities like Clam Chowder.
Overall, an average experience: nothing extraordinary or specifically worth highlighting. The hot dog and fries were good.
Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options such as 4-cheese flatbread. I didn't see any others.
Dietary restrictions: I didn't see any options for people who have certain dietary requirements such as vegan, kosher, halal etc.
Parking: Parking is on the main ground near the zoo entrance gate. Payment has to be made when you buy the tickets for entry.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid-friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible.“
“We got a table right away. Cool outdoor area and attractive inside with a real tree that’s lit up and little lights. Music was interesting and I liked the vibe. Half of the beers were out of stock. But the food was good. Yummy meatball appetizer and tasty pizzas. 👍“

“Can’t believe the ratings are so low. I live in Vegas where the Asian cuisine has a high bar. I had the dumplings day 1 for a quick bite. They were unbelievable. Day 2 I had the beef brisket noodle, Wow. I went back to the counter and told the girl to tell the chef it was incredible.“
