Great place to eat dim sum
Beautiful dinning room, food was only so so. It was expensive, but that’s everywhere nowadays.
A big Cantonese banquet room in South San Francisco that handles everything from weekend dim sum to wedding dinners. The pandan custard tarts and the steamed fish head in pepper sauce are the menu's stars, and the lobster noodles are a regular order. Fair prices for this level of kitchen, with the classic afternoon break between lunch and dinner. Thank you for the generous tables. Five stars.

H.L. Peninsula Restaurant offers some of the best dim sum, with a variety of tasty dishes. This huge banquet-style restaurant serves food quickly. Favorites include chicken feet and tripe. The restaurant is situated close to the airport and is a great spot for a dim sum journey.
The restaurant features a big beautiful banquet hall perfect for enormous gatherings. The food is generally very nice, with the black pepper steak and sea bass being excellent choices. The service is impressively fast despite the size.
The restaurant also offers private dining rooms that are great for larger parties, and the food comes out quickly. The restaurant has been praised for its exceptional service and smooth event planning, with the roasted suckling pig and sea bass being standout dishes. This place has genuine Wok Hey! They serve authentic Chinese food with twists you won't find anywhere else. House fried rice was exceptional, sea food and black truffles? Gai Lan with scallops yum! HL Peninsula is one of your regular dim sum spots. They don’t really take reservations. Service is quick, they get your orders out quickly, and staff refills your tea often. They automatically charge a 16% service charge that is taxable. Restaurant will not seat you if the whole party is not present. Food is average with a higher price that did not match the food. Service was okay. Mandatory 16% tip with bill.
