“I dropped my bowl in front of bento box on the sidewalk and the manager was so cool about making another. Hands down bento box has been a staple in san mateo for years. Its me, my family, and friends go to for a delisious meal. Its not too pricy and the flavor has been the same about 20 years of my life“

“Got the salmon delivered. With cous cous and spinach and holendaise. A bit pricey, but they are experts at prep, and cooking. Salmon was perfect. Honey ginger, without over powering each other or the salmon. Roasted pine nuts? Very very tasty and roasted to perfection. The holendaise was tart again exactly the way it should be. Exceptionally fresh, exceptionally executed. When in the city I will stop by and thank them. Now, of course I want to try everything else on their menu.“

“I've been to many different locations for rooster and rice across San Francisco. This had been my first time at this location and it was nice. It definitely was given a corporate lunch location as it's under office buildings. They forgot to add a few items to our order. The food always delivers though, especially if you order the traditional dish.“
