“Heard about this place on Facebook. Small place but has about 7 dine in tables. Not much on looks but the food is delicious. I had the salt and pepper shrimp that was incredible. Good portions of food that you can share. Prices are bit higher with an average of $16-$20 and entrée“

“Overall superior to what you expect of a small fast food ish type Chinese restaurant. It was about 10pm when we got there, and the place was quite busy with a short line at the counter, and calls for to go orders coming in pretty frequently. Staff were hopping, but efficient and very pleasant, even to the kinda problematic customer in line in front of us.
Our food was prepared fresh, and ingredients looked like they were very fresh and of premium quality. They were cooked perfectly, and quantities were more than generous, especially at the very reasonable prices. This was our first time in, and it's not in an area we spend much time in, but it's on the way home from areas where we go more frequently, and I'd most definitely go back, and even go a bit out of the way to eat there again.“

“It's been forever since ive had pick up stix. I wish you could have items a la carta if you want more than one item but the portion size makes up for it. I got the hot honey chicken and it was delivhtful! I forgot about how yummy their fried rice is too it's not dry and it's really flavorful 😋“

“I loved their lao papaya salad! Only thing was at spicy level 10, I tasted no spice. I guess this is a ME problem. I eat too much spicy! Their lao sausages are also so good!

“🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board. Will be coming back for sure ..! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Food was extremely good and fresh while we waited for chow mein. There was a line out the door that was moving pretty steadily. They also pack the plates with food I rarely have left overs and I had a lot left over bc of how much food I was given definitely worth coming“

They had amazing customer service! They were very polite, and the atmosphere was very hole in the wall, but in a really really good way!!! The fried Gyoza was excellent, The spicy dumplings were not at all spicy, but still pretty good, The takoyaki As explained by my husband was a little too thick on the batter side HOWEVER The Vietnamese coffee was out of this world! The teriyaki beef lunch special had amazing flavor, but I will say that the fried rice was a little bland so next time I’ll just go with plain steamed rice, The teriyaki chicken lunch special looked a little small because my husband asked for no vegetables Still pretty good, Egg drop soup needed a little bit of salt, but the salad was on point! Overall, for a lunch special solid 4.5 out of 5! Highly recommend!“
