“Delicious pupusa’s!
The food truck sits on an out-of-service car wash. You can find paved parking “behind the food truck” where there is covered seating or park on the dirt lot next to the old car wash. There are signs that read if you order pupusa’s the wait time can be 15 min to make one pupusa. FYI call in your order if y’all don’t want to wait.“

“We had a great meal at this fantastic little gem! I had three tacos (one of each) and my husband had the chicken quesadillas - both were divine! The caramel churros afterwards were also a big hit! The owner was very friendly and made us feel right at home!“

“Stopped by on our way home and based on the reviews we wanted to try this place. When we got there the parking lot was empty, only one car was parked outside the restaurant so made it questionable to go in. We asked someone who was coming out and they said it was good to try it out so we did. Not bad, we ordered gorditas de asada, taco de camarón, and tacos de tripa. The tortillas were handmade, always a plus.
The only thing is that the tripa could have been cleaned better and chopped in smaller pieces. Overall everything was good including the agua de horchata and customer service was good too.“

“last night was the first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had a good time with the efficient service, with the first-rate cooking and wine and with the comfortable charge. We will surely go back there in a short time.“

“Best place in town I've found so far. Will befinetly be eating here again. Having fresh condiments to add to the base burrito is a plus. The only down is size of the tortilla, it was well stuffed but after adding condiments was a bear to reroll.“

“The flavor of genuine food is non negotiable. I travel from Clovis to Lindsay, CA, to enjoy an authentic "Molcajete." I order the small molcajete because my wife never eats too much. It was more than enough for both. 1. When the stone, Molcajete cooks the nopal, chicken, steak, chorizo, and shrimps in addition to onions, garlic, chili toreado, and sensation lowering the spicy level. 3. I have to talk about the corn tortilla de maiz as a separate item because of the admirable consistency, perfect coocking time, body flexibility, and the present natural flavor to corn that will help to manage the spicy hot chili. 4. The true avocado salsa is perfect and celestial because it is 90% avocado. It is not salty, sour, or invaded by onions. 5. The porción of rice and beans are the basic ingredients to tolerate the spicy food and satisfy my appetite. 6. I enjoyed mixing a little piece of chicken, beef, jalapen̈o, nopal, and hot salsa of the Molcajete over all with rice and bean. 7. When I feel the sweet torture of the spicy chili, I take a piece of cheese and tortilla and zip of cold Coca-Cola.
8. Service: I feel that I was eating at home with my sister's.
People, if you want a real Molcajete, taste this place. Let them know what you are expecting. Then, when you, like me, at the time to pay $48 dollars in total, it will be reasonable.
VERY IMPORTANT!
I'm returning because I know this place with the original owner. I think it was a little better for some reason, but it does not change my 5 stars.
AIR CONDITIONING. It was broken at 102 degrees outside. "I never, ever, accept to eat anywhere without air conditioning. However, everyone was trying to fix it. It was not fixed. My wife knows me, and she agreed to go to any other restaurant returning home. The ladies installed fans in all directions, and I felt the weird sensation that I was between family. My body adapted the conditions, and the winds released the heat. My wife was surprised that I was happy.
BATHROOMS. It was clean. No new, but it was very clean. The toilet and sink look white and shiny. I always act as a gentleman and help to keep it clean as I find it.
RESTAURANT NEW OWNER. Please, work smart to get more 5 stars reviews. It is not the time to rest. It is the time to create your "personal brand.". The people should say. The new owners are better than the classic former owners. Please keep your eyes in the perfect cooking time and ingredients. Please do not lower the quality or portion. You can increase the price or negotiate better with your vendors, but your Molcajete should be treated as the king.“

“The food is how you would get it at home. The tortillas on the tacos are a little too raw for me, but my Dad loves them that way. They don't dip them in oil how most places do, so if you're going for a less calorie taco, this is the place. The meat is fresh and they put plenty in your tacos. The tortas are delicious also. They always have a variety of aguas frescas and also bottled or canned drinks. The tables have been widened so they aren't super skinny like before. You can sit and enjoy the food. It's clean and chill there.“

“Finally a great Taco/Mexican place in Porterville“
“Really love the remodel – the store looks so much cleaner and more inviting. The overall experience feels like a totally different vibe compared to before. The food is great, and you can really tell new management has made some positive changes. I see some people complaining about prices, but honestly, everything has gone up everywhere. I appreciate that this is a family-run business trying hard to keep things going. Keep it up!“

“Very good value - I highly recommend the Burrito al Pastor. Make sure to ask for hot sauce and grilled jalapeños (both are complementary, but not always automatically included). It's also cash-only, and can get a li'l busy during normal meal times“
