“Hubby are recent transplants to Rio Vista, and whenever we are out and about shopping, we are now in the habit of finding the closest Mtn Mikes to take a pizza home with us. We've now been to three different locations, but have been to this one Sunset twice now. We've tried the Hawaiian one and the BBQ Chicken Ranch one and LOVED both of them. Mtn Mike's pizza are fully loaded with toppings with just the right amount of sauce. Too many pizza places like to drown their topping in too much sauce. NOT MTN MIKE!!! Mtn Mike's are definitely our #1 goto pizza place!“
“They are great. I always request my oizza being well done, almost burnt. 70% the time the pizza places will agree to it but it is still floppy. I don’t like floppy pizza. Round Table in Suisun City did it PERFECTLY. NO other place has done it quite right, but these guys did. 5 star for sure.“
“First time at this restaurant and we are definitely coming back. We got Achari Chicken, and Oh my! What a twist! Unique flavor. My kids are picky eaters and they enjoyed it. What made our visit even better was the service, the staff were so welcoming, explained and gave us choices. They really took their time to make sure we were happy and enjoy the food. Nice music playing in the background, made it great for a nice family night out.“
“Located in a nondescript stripmall, this small place has some indoor seating but it's really more of a take-out place. The menu has a good variety of pizzas with some unusual slices (we got the "garbage pie") you won't get everywhere, and the taste is very good though the pieces tend to get messy as you eat with the ingredients sliding around on the thinnish crust. When we were there a bunch of tween/teens were inside and in the limited outside seating vaping and smoking cigs and screaming and shouting, which made eating there uncomfortable, but I'm sure that doesn't happen all the time.“
“The use of chopped toppings rather than sliced is a great idea. The crust has the right amount of crisp with a soft texture inside. Their pizza sauce is perfect and doesn't have that heartburn effect that other pizza places sauce can with some people. One more plus is that it's not a greasy pizza! The salads could be bigger though but other than that I would recommend Pizza Twist to anyone who wants to try something other than basic pizza and traditional flavors, although they can make that for you too if you just aren't ready to step outside the box.Dietary restrictions: Calorie counts are fairly low compared to most pizza places.“
“It's Pizza time. This time I got a large pizza, because there was a large pizza. The Classic Napoli Cheese Pie, with Napoli Red Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese. I'm glad there's add on topping selections. The extra toppings were 38% of the Pizza pie, but worth it. I got Anchovies, Pineapples, and Red Onions. I don't care what anybody says, I'm one of those people that believe Pineapple belongs on a Pizza. It's so wrong, but it's so right. It's like the Carl's Jr. TERIYAKI BURGER. Who remembers the TERIYAKI Burger? This is the most distant to the TERIYAKI Burger. The Anchovies reminds me of Sardines, I spent a lot of time at the Cannery Row factories while growing up. Santorini people out there prepare Sardines and Anchovies a lot. There's a lot of Omega-3 in Sardines and Anchovies. Anchovies aren't for everybody, like anybody who aren't into cured fish. And Anchovies, are in Caesar Salad dressing. This used to be my go to favorite Pizza, when I was a party animal. The crust was beyond good. They don't have this everywhere. This wasn't the most perfect picture, but it'll do. I didn't know if all of this was going to fit in one picture. I don't know if some people out there can see? But they brought out the pedestal for the Pizza this time. Bravo. I also had a Raspberry Italian Soda. The Raspberry Italian Soda had cream in it.“
“The food was so good! I had my favorite dish, Chicken Alfredo! Papa had New York Stromboli. There was so food, we had to take some home. The server was so nice I loved how she got us our food quickly while she was helping other people! The place and the pictures in there are kind of historical. “Had a 9th birthday celebration here! This was one of the best decisions, and I highly recommend having your next event hosted here! We had the pleasure of Kalani host our event, and let me tell you, she is in simple form AMAZING! Kalani interacted with the birthday kiddos and made sure they all were taken care of with food choices and drinks, which was REALLY nice. Gave us time to chat with the adult guests that accompanied their children. The timing was right on from guest arrival , taking our food order , gathering up the kiddos over the PA, accounting for everyone, food arriving hot, and enjoyable to all. Not only did the kiddos have an enjoyable time, as did the adults! Some of the items we ordered: Of course the Pepperoni pizza, you have to try the BBQ chicken wasn't dry, very tasty , veggie and cheese for those who aren't fans of Pepperoni or chicken. The Korean BBQ wings come with celery were pretty good as well. There is that salad bar that looked really fresh, crisp, and well tended to. When it was time for the cake, it was brought out everyone engaged in the Happy birthday song, which was really fun for all. I also noticed Kalani was also using ASL, which was super cool.. She then again right there cutting, serving and interacting.... The man of the house, Chuck E Cheese himself, visits each birthday table for individual greetings and pictures.. Wow, what a fun filled, happy, memorable day for everyone! I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO GIVE BIG THANK YOU AND GRADITUDE TO MR. “Have to write a review after coming here so long, just wanted to say that they have the best variety in pizza, superior quailty for the price (with so many pizzerias in the vacinty you have to try them all) and Indian Star Pizza hands down trumped them all. It's the one I go back for consistently. All of their Indian pizzas have an amazing flavor. My fave was the butter chicken.
