“They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

“I come here about three times a week before starting my shift at work (1pm), and I have no complaints about the food or staff, but someone needs to fix how they constructed the parking spaces and drive-thru. During lunch, there's a line for the drive-thru (which is fine. That's what a drive-thru is for), but the line blocks the customers parked in their parking space trying to get out. I paid for my food in the drive-thru lane, but then I couldn't get out due to the horrible placement of this drive-thru.

9/23/24 update: 9 years later, I returned, and I am happy they solved their drive-thru dilemma. Their food is still cooked to perfection and delicious, and their customer service is still excellent. I will be coming here more often.“

“Their zaab pork belly rice bowl is phenomenal. I have not been in person to this restaurant, but I went to a festival where they had a booth and served it. The meat was perfectly crispy on the outside and succulent and juicy inside. The hints of lime juice complemented the meat in a way that makes me think about it. If you like pork belly, this place is a great place to get it.“

“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!“

“I got the boneless combo with spicy kalbi and I was hesitant at first because I don’t like boneless wings because they typical are all batter however these were perfect! So much meat and the right amount of crunch. Everything was packaged delicately for the fry-to-sauce ratio. The man who was working was very helpful and nice. I ordered a side of rice since I don’t like French fries, although I found myself eating all these fries hahaha. The pickled radish was a major swoon!!! So fresh, crunchy, and delicious. I was drinking the pickle radish juice it was so good!“

I order a mango habanero slider, a Nashville hot tender and fries with a mango passionfruit agua fresca, and it's the best I've had in a long time! the mango mellowed out the habanero, but you could still feel some of the heat. the hot Nashville was the all-star though - it's actually hot! the agua fresca was the perfect drink to counter the savory flavors, too. im definitely coming again. the staff were very attentive and friendly as well!“

“Raising Cane’s is bringing their lightly breaded chicken tendies and sandwiches to Hollywood. It’s pretty consistent from location to location but this Hollywood location feels different. They are sitting in a location directly across from another place that does chicken tenders. That in itself is interesting and the competition will be fierce. I think Raising Cane’s gonna win the battle for customers on Sunset Blvd. because they have a more friendly inviting indoor dining experience. That’s great because many restaurants in the fast food space don’t encourage sitting and enjoying the experience of the restaurant.

The food: My Raising Cane’s order included lightly breaded tenders, crinkle cut fries and some of the best Sweet Tea I’ve ever had. The tea doesn’t taste like sugar water nor is it bland it’s just right and washes the tendies down perfectly. I enjoy it so much it’s now part of my shopping list and for 7 bucks a gallon it’s less than a similar jug from my local grocery store.

All and all Raising Cane’s is a consistent chicken tender and sandwich hit! The Hollywood location with its welcoming dine in experience, its late night 2am dine in hours, the chicken with a light but crispy bite and the best sweet tea is shaping up to be a great addition to the Hollywood chicken tendie scene.“

“Really good. The portions are just a bit stingy for the price. I'd prefer the plate was like $22 instead of $18, and bigger. Still through, the quality is amazing. If your going with a friend split the potatoes to round out the meal, and your belly. Very high quality meal, loved it.“
