“Not sure about you, but I’m not a Krispy Kreme fan. I prefer the classic, old-school Asian-run donut shops (have you seen the movie Donut King? - Must watch!). I grabbed a half dozen donuts a little past 11 a.m., and the lady was super friendly, even threw in a free one. That’s rare these days! She also encouraged me to try my luck with Powerball, and surprisingly, I won! Though it was just a small amount, equal to what I played (haha).

“Mike at Mama Donuts decorated our donuts as a turntable for our daughter’s 50th birthday. It was a vinyl record party theme! The donuts were amazing! The decor, the taste. “Always happy to come here. They have a great selection of donuts no matter the time of day and whoever is behind the counter is always happy to help. “This spot is seriously one of the hidden gems around. The food is ALWAYS fresh, stacked, and made with care. Look at this sandwich, thick egg, fresh avocado, crisp vegetables, quality bread, everything balanced perfectly. You can tell they don’t cut corners here.

But honestly, the best part is the people. These ladies are some of the kindest workers I’ve met. They actually remember me and my order even if I haven’t been there for weeks, and they always treat me with genuine warmth and respect. That kind of service is rare now. “It's been awhile since I've been here due to the pandemic. I've always stopped in after finishing my laundry in the little shopping plaza. Today was no exception, and man... it's as good as I remembered. Ordered my usual turkey & ham croissant (everything on it) with some OJ. This huge baked croissant filled with cheese, jalapeño and ham caught my eye, so I also got that to go. The sweet owner threw in a free donut as well! Took them home to enjoy. On our way home from some degeneracy and I got a jalapeno ham cheese croissant and some donuts. It was hot and fresh out the kitchen and straight into my mouth I could barely contain myself on the drive home.

Now it's nothing special and but given the context this was the best thing to end that night (morning?) with.

“THEE best donuts, not greasy or oily, fluffy, not too sweet, airy. i've been coming here for over 15 years and they have been consistent every time. If I bring anyone a donut from here they ask where they're from! Sweetest couple runs it, very mom and pop classic donut shop. Make the drive if you're not close by, it's so worth it.
