“Voodoo Doughnuts ? is delicious ?
Universal City Walk located in Studio City, California ( Los Angeles) is a little bit different than the original locations.. the Voodoo Doughnuts at the Universal Studios City Walk location tends to be a tad bit heavy handed on the butter... My blueberry cake doughnut was saturated... overly saturated with butter and it was heavy & my bag was covered in butter oil within minutes...

I also don't like that the franchise location at Universal Studios City Walk does not participate in the Voodoo Doughnuts promotions; therefore WHY am I participating in emails & updates if I can't take advantage of the promotions offered via Voodoo Doughnuts email club... totally not fair, and I guess I will un subscribe if I can't get offers like the other Voodoo Doughnuts locations that are not in my area...

“They've got cute quirks of different kinds of chocolate snacks and really interesting items. They've even got that one Japanese soda that you have to drop the little ball inside! Not to mention their doughnuts that are really really soft and good!! However, the reason why this place got 5 stars, was because of their customer service. I forgot the name of the girl in the front register, but she was new and she was so nice, so sweet, humble and honest. She really made the experience memorable and she does such an amazing job, and also the lady that gave us the doughnuts! She was so considerate and sweet! “Their donuts are freaking amazing. I bought it at 11am on Sunday morning (No Doubt or Maroon 5?), kept it in the box until Monday morning, in which we ate it at 7:30am. It was still so yummy as if we just bought it. The Old Fashion was still crispy. The glazed donut wasn't as glazey but still yummy. Chocolate frosting was definitely chocolatey.Get your donuts here guys. I drove from Tarzana to Glendale for these donuts. Worth it.“

“We love Donut & Sandwich Station. The staff is awesome and they always have the best fresh sandwiches. Another great thing they sell are papusas and the cortido and salsa that comes with the papusas is deeeee-licious! I love their croissant sandwiches. They're so fresh and the sandwiches come with pickles, jalapenos, lettuce and tomatoes. I usually get no tomatoes because I'm allergic to tomatoes. Definitely a great place to come and grab a bite to eat!

They are as friendly as usual and the bread is delicious.

“I visited this place right after trying the Old Ferry Donut. I really enjoyed both. This place is more of your classic donut place, but it’s done really well! No old oil flavor, the bread is light and fluffy, and those bear claws…boy oh boy they’re the best I’ve ever had! Like I said, the bread is light but that bear claw had some heft! They weren’t afraid to really stuff those things.

The glazed twists are like a meal on their own and the cage donuts have the best (and not overwhelming) crunch to them.

I decided to Google a location that seemed close to me and found this place. I called to make sure they had Apple fritters on a Saturday morning and I was happy to hear that they did. I was pleasantly surprised by the look and taste of my Apple fritter. It tasted just as it SHOULD taste crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are cash only so be prepared as I was not and had to leave to get cash since I refuse to use a third party ATM as I’ve had fraud in the past due to using one. I ordered a dozen to replace the ones my bf got from Dunkin’ and was extremely pleased. I should’ve taken pics but all the pics listed on Google are pretty accurate.
