“Most delicious Mexican food I’ve had in a family owned restaurant. People are friendly and service is good. The tortillas are authenticity delicious. The enchiladas and carnitas plate are amazing. “Located on the south side of Foothill Blvd in Sunland. After they remodeled a while back, this has to be one of the nicest Taco Bell’s around. Like many places, ordering in store is with a digital kiosk. The food is still the same. I typically like to order through the app for pickup. They have a good size parking lot as well. Where they really shine is their dining area that even includes some lounge seating in the corner.“

“So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up

“Wow, I stopped by today because I saw this on my IG story...and this place was amazing~!!! the chip and salsa is soooo good! chips are so crispy and the salsa is on point!!! i got the fish taco, which was pretty big and tasted great! then the main dish was the Kabob burrito (beef)...it was huge and tasted so good! i've never had a kabob burrito before but this was amazing...it comes with garlic sauce, mild, and hot. the Jamaica fresca was also good too~!!! parking is free in the lot out front...Juan (owner) is super nice and I'll be back again~!!!“

“I've going here since the early 90s and it tastes exactly the same as it did 30 years ago.....delicious! At many Mexican food places you always end up picking large pieces of fat or gristle from the carne asada, but never at Casitas! The charbroiled taste of the meat really sets them apart from other taco joints. The burrito ranchero plate can feed two, and the serve yourself salsa bar is always on point. The cashiers are always so damn nice too! I hope they're open forever!“

With some lime and green salsa, the burrito is scrumptious. The workers are very friendly and I believe they are a family. It is a humble little restaurant with great food. “It was date-nite for my wife and I, so we decided to try a new place. We stopped at Candilejas to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised. You wouldn't give the building much importance from the outside, and it's sort of in a funny area for a restaurant. When I entered, I got the family-owned restaurant vibe...small, simple, spartan. The server that helped us was very polite and explained some of the dishes we had questions about. In the end, we ended up getting the "Torre" and the Ceviche de camarones", they were both awesome, super tender, and fresh-tasting. We had to leave early to pick up my son so we didn't finish the "Torre". You should definitely try this place if you like mariscos! (Seafood)

Wheelchair accessibility: My only complaint would be that it is NOT accessible with a wheelchair, there is a ramp for wheelchairs and a parking spot for the disabled but the door literally obstructs access from the ramp, my wife needed to stand up and walk a few steps to get passed the door, but not everyone can do that. The other option would be to have somebody haul you up the steps, and that too can not be performed by everyone. This problem could easily be solved by making the door swing towards the inside instead of opening outwards.“
