“The chicken is great. The employees could use more training. I always have to wait 15-20 for the chicken because they never have any mild ready.... really???.... atleast I get it fresh. Then for some odd reason they always run out of the bread for the Po Boy..... If you constantly run out maybe order more. That goes back to training the employees better. The manager should know what sells the most and have more of that. Common sense.“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for so long and today I was finally able to. I’ve had chicken sandwiches from Howlin Rays and LeCoupe and this is on that level. It isn’t easy to find a good fried chicken sandwich in the valley and I was incredibly (and surprisingly) pleased. A shame that due to slow business they will be shutting down in October. If in the area give it a try! There was only one man working and he was incredibly kind and attentive!“

He personally contacted the other location, canceled my order there, and made sure my food was freshly prepared here without any delay. It’s either via DoorDash or GrubHub who ever offers the most Discount that week ;) unless I’m in the area I’ll pick it up. Personally if it was my wish or hope I would replace them with all of Dave’s. I’m surprised they only have 2 locations. The sandwich burst with flavor and most recently Im addicted to the Burrito. “They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

“I used the drive thru. Ordered the pot pie & individual cole slaw. At the pick-up window, the girl said my order was $26. I said for a pot pie! Seems like they didn't put my order in, so I had to wait a but longer & the price changed to $8.“

“The place is spacious, it has a locked bathroom, you can eat there, the chicken is delicious, parking outside the mall, there is no wheelchair access, there are no games for children, the most important thing...... there is no air conditioning or I don't know if the day I went it wasn't useful“

Therefore, despite my initial decision over the past year to give up on KFC altogether; I return to this particular location only.“

“I’ve loved Zankou’s chicken for years — it’s the best in the Valley. In the past, the service here in Tarzana was a little hit-or-miss, but lately it’s been a big improvement. Zack, who’s now working the register, is fantastic. He’s friendly, efficient, and makes the whole experience smoother. “KFC chicken is some of the best chicken in the world. They have a $20.00 meal that will feed a family of five and have some leftovers. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes are my favorite. The customer service was great that day. The restaurant and restroom were clean. I will be more than happy to return to this store.“

“Atmosphere was dark but I think shades were down to maybe protect against afternoon sun. I did not dine in, but quite a bit of people were dining in with family.

Food was actually better quality than the sepulveda/santa monica location. Staff were busy so not much time to socialize/connect, but staff seemed thorough and punctual.

Would takeout and to-go just for food quality and staff helpfulness.“
