“Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

Even the rice is completely different and cooked to perfection. The food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. “Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I love trying new places. We found this place on the hunt for the best khinkalis. We visited the actual store front first. The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“

“One of the best 100 meals we've had. If you are traveling between Ventura and Pasadena, a great place to stop. Located in a strip mall, just off the freeway. We shared an Armenian salad and a lamb shawarma. Perfect amount of food for two people. Don't miss this place!“

“The cashier was rude , I asked her if they sold carne asada fries. She pointed to the menu. I said it only says nachos. She replied " no" our Antonio's nachos are fries. How would I know that! I'm not a regular customer. And with that type of customer service surely I will not be a regular customer.“

I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. But the food here is straight up. Amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but what introduced me to this place was their burgers which are just incredible. I just got one after so long and I just couldn't help but notice that it looks like the Real life version of the Krabby Patty

“We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.

Also, I just have to say—the woman who owns the place has an awesome haircut and color! I meant to compliment her in person, but forgot, so I’m writing it here in case she sees this.“

“The place was described as a vegetable based, salad, fresh ingredients version of Chipotle's. I was taken by the acidity of the food, along with its sweetness, which made it particularly enjoyable. There was a very short line, and the menu took some time to comprehend. In terms of decor, and feel, it did have the same feel as a Chipotle's, although I think the focus on greens and salads helps differentiate its line-up of dishes. Otherwise, it was not a particularly remarkable experience but rather enjoyable to spend time with friends in the patio space outside.“

“1st time eating here , I came with one of my coworkers and all I can say the guy who helped us is very nice, prepared our dishes very fast, I had the lula kabob wrap, huge wrap btw and very delicious I couldn't finish all, just half, my coworker got the combination kabob, I'm looking forward to go again , I highly recommend this place

“This place is really REALLY good. To give you folks context, it’s a small restaurant off the food court in a Mall. So, you kind of go in thinking you’re going to get “mall food”.

But, no. Not at Kabab Lab (silly name, AMAZING food). Their combo plates come with a lot of rice, salad (with a great dressing), pita, humas, and excellent chicken and beef. Well cooked, juicy, well seasoned… it’s one of those places that “you have a taste for…” once you’ve tried it.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, but i can tell you that I keep coming back. I’d rather endure The Mall and have an excellent, delicious, well prepared meal instead of hitting some of my local places that aren’t nearly as good.

The restaurant is always very clean and well lit. It can get crowded but it’s the Mall so there is a lot of fast turn over. Plus there are another 100 tables in the common area if you aren’t in the restaurant itself.

The staff is always friendly and the cooks clearly know what they are doing.
