“I went back to Sam's Philly Steak since I was in the area to see what it's like after years of not getting the chance to pop in. The place was remodeled some time ago and now has a more sleek and tidy design. The owner is still there making food to order at the speed of light (my order was very fast, even with having three items). The super cheese steak is definitely something I'll be coming back for if I'm in the area because of how filling and tasty the steak, onions, mushrooms, and peppers are, and the chili cheese fries have a perfect balance of taste and melt in your mouth goodness. Even as prices have gone up the past few years especially with other restaurants, this one has stood the test of time and continues to provide great value for great tasting food.“

“Very delicious I just wish I was hungrier so I could've knocked out the fries as well but the cheese on the fries were so bomb but a bit too salty and I accidentally said yes to lettuce and tomato so I picked it out but I got the Philly cheese steak no mushrooms ?“

It's inside the Westfield mall in Sherman Oaks, so I can actually walk there. Now, as you know, I'm the only one you need to listen to. I'm not a teen, I've been around the block, cheesesteak-wise, and I suspect you'll be happy with your meal and the price is right compared to other jernts. In fact, I want one now as I write this. Unfortunately, it's two in the morning. Well, tomorrow is another day.“

“This is not a storefront restaurant. It's a take out only business located in a commercial kitchen. So that was odd but not a problem, it looks shady AF like your pulling into some alleyway, but it's not bad actually. Food was ready early, but I was there early to pick it up so that worked alright. It came out piping hot, so hot I had to wait to snag an onion ring for the ride home, and the food was still at a good temp after a ten minute drive home. The food was very solid. The cheesesteak appeared soggy when I opened the foil, but it was actually more greasy which was ok since the roll was really resilient and held up to both the grease, moisture and contents of the sandwich. The onion rings were good, well done, maybe even a tad too much so depending upon your preference, but still very good. Not a huge fan of the ranch but the Mayo ketchup was good. Reminded me of fry sauce from the Midwest. Apple pie wontons we're surprisingly well made and delicious. Probably needed some ice cream next time. I would definitely order here again.“
