Sasoon Restaurant

My wife and I had dinner at Sasoon restaurant a few weeks ago. The food and the service was wonderful. Being Armenian, it was a special treat to eat foods that were as close to my mother and grandmother's cooking. Nelly and Garbis are like my second grandparents. The moment I walked in their restaurant, it was like my home away from home. Their decor is just like my grandparents home and definitely like my grandfather's, Charles Nazarian's, bar with all those placards that I love! Their hospitality is just as amazing as their food. I am 100% Armenian and I can vouch for this place to be the BEST of the BEST asides from my grandmothers cooking. XO

A perfect way to describe this place is like if my grandmothers kitchen turned into a restaurant. A very feel good--hole in the wall--place, with a lot of history. The food is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere of the entire restaurant makes you feel like you're dining in someone's home. They just earned themselves a new regular!
