“Spent the day wine tasting and made reservations for lunch. Food was super yummy. Wines were decent. The grounds and landscaping is gorgeous.

Started with the hummus. It’s really thick and a bit dry. Needed to ask for more pita because it’s a big plate. The asparagus and prosciutto was good.

The mushroom risotto was super delicious and creamy. Very rich and filling. Caesar salad had a good flavor. The pesto chicken added a great punch to it. It’s huge! The superfood salad was one of my favorites. We added shrimp for an extra fee. They added 3 shrimp. Needed more! The corn chowder was yummy but needed to be hot. It was just lukewarm.

I've sampled many, but nothing compares to Thirstea's. They load it with toppings and the leche flan is incredibly fresh and authentic. “So delicious, short waiting time . Owner was kind and cleaned the table we were sitting on to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable. I asked for more agave in my drink and they kindly added more . The Matcha lasted me the 1.5 hour drive back and I was sipping it the whole way . It remained its strong matcha taste even after a while of drinking it . I got a matcha iced latte with whole milk and agave . 10/10 ! Only $16 for 2 drinks was pretty good , size is perfect for the amount of matcha they use“

“Swing Inn, Temecula, CA is located right in the heart of Old Town Temecula. My family and I had been wanting to try their food for a while, and we finally made it there for lunch.

Before you're seated, a staff member outside will ask whether you prefer indoor or outdoor seating. We ordered the Family Platter for $159, which is meant to serve 2–4 people. It was huge! All the meats were flavorful and so tender, they were easy to cut and even easier to enjoy. We couldn’t finish everything, so we asked for a to-go box and saved the rest for dinner.

There’s free parking behind the Swing Inn, which is super convenient.

By the way—did you know that actor Dean Norris from the Netflix series Breaking Bad took over the Swing Inn? My kids were hoping to meet him, but unfortunately, he wasn’t there when we visited. Some people said he does occasionally stop by as a surprise, though, so you might get lucky!

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend sitting outdoors. Yes, it can be hot during the summer, but they have misters to help cool you down, and you’ll get a nice view of Old Town. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit noisy due to music from the pub across the street and passing cars. If you prefer a quieter and more private dining experience, indoor seating might be a better choice.“

“I had such a great time at Batch Mead! I’d never really tried mead before visiting, but now I totally get the hype. Every flavor I tried was unique and delicious, not overly sweet, just really well balanced and smooth. You can tell they put a lot of care into every batch.

The place itself has a super relaxed and welcoming vibe. It’s perfect for a laid back afternoon with friends or a casual date. The staff was awesome too, really knowledgeable and friendly, and they took the time to explain the different types of meads and how they’re made.

I ended up taking a few bottles home (the lavender and berry ones were my favorite) and I’m already planning my next visit. It’s such a cool hidden gem in the area.

To that end, I was looking for something more personal and intimate for our last winery stop, and that’s how I found Lumiere. We had the most wonderful experience of our Temecula trip at Lumiere. Martha was so lovely to talk to and so knowledgeable about wine and the history of wine-making in Temecula, her being the matriarch of the family business. I’m not sure why Lumiere doesn’t seem to get as much business as other nearby wineries, because the property is beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains, the staff is so genuinely kind, and the tastings are much more reasonably priced than almost anywhere else we visited, especially considering the quality of Lumiere’s wine compared to some of the other, more popular wineries. We left with three bottles and a wonderful memory of our conversation with Martha. If you’re looking for a quieter, more personal experience while in Temecula (and to support a small family business), take this as your sign to make Lumiere a stop on your Temecula winery tour—you absolutely will not regret it. “I came out to this gorgeous mom and pop vineyard on 8/3 with my bestie, and we did the wine tasting and it was worth every penny. Our waiter Heston was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations. I ended up buying 2 bottles of wine to get shipped back to Delaware so I could have a piece of California in my kitchen. The Syrah Rock Creek is my absolute favorite new red wine. For a white their vermentino is a perfect white wine. I am not a big white wine person I loved it. Whenever I am back on the west coast I will be coming back again.“

I've never gotten over/undercooked Boba from this family owned shop, and their Thai tea is the best I've ever had (out of 50-ish shops I've been to, including Philippines, Taiwan, and Indonesia). I order it 75% sweet with Less Ice.

Their food is also great! It's on the expensive side for the portion sizes, but the quality is worth it - so it's not a bad deal.

Finally, they just got some authentic Pop Mart products in the store! There is a small variety of Labubu. I bought one of the tiny hat bags for my daughter. They're cheaper here than what they're charging at the mall!“

“Loved our stop at Bella Vista! We came here with Straight off the Vine winery tour and had a great time. The tasting room is huge- we were immediately given tasting tokens by Dylan who was so nice. Matt was there to pour our wine and give us recommendations- he was so knowledgeable! I told him that I usually love Cabernet so he chose our wines based off of that. We loved the Peacock dry bubbly to start, and then really liked the white Fermentino. Matt encouraged us to walk up the stairs outside and to enjoy our wine overlooking the beautiful view! It was so peaceful and beautiful up there! I’m so excited for Bella Vista to get their permitting and be able to pour up there :) Really nice spot!“

“I've been coming here for a decade. Before my dad passed, it was our place for breakfast. My birthday is in a couple of days, so we came in on a Sunday for breakfast. The place was busy, and all the servers seemed to be keeping up, and we were served and seated quickly and largely taken care of like one of the family.

My only thought on the food this last time in is eh. It's still a great place, but some things I noticed, the coffee cake was not very good, it was tough and stale. This may be due to it being busy, and the coffee cakes are free. But I got the Country Benedict. When she dropped the food, i noticed my eggs were fried more than poached, and I needed about double the amount of gravy.

Every other time have been great so I would not hesitate to return or stop in.“

I ordered the Peppered Club and swapped the Swiss cheese out for Smoked Cheddar on a white roll toasted. She made it perfectly.

I felt the slice of turkey and ham was a bit too transparent, it was lost in the over size roll and toppings, while good, just poor value for what you get. This is why 3 stars for food.

Her tasting was awesome, we got to try all the cake flavors with different fillings and toppings, and design the cakes together in regards to size and decor. I actually changed my cake design a month before the wedding and she was accommodating and easy to communicate with! The cake at our wedding was honestly THE BEST WEDDING CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD and many of our guest reiterated that to us! Tasty and beautiful! I can’t recommend Bocakes enough!“
