Best food is Templeton, one of the top 5 Mexican food restaurants in the north county. This is a family owned and operated restaurant that provides excellent quality food at an affordable price. The restaurant is a bit dated but always clean, servers are super friendly and accommodating. Their chips and salsa are always fresh, chile verde is the BEST! If you come here for a meal, you won't leave hungry!
I really love this place. Their Papusas are really good and well portioned as well as affordable. I also get a lengua wet burrito at least once a week from here and it is amazing! Quality, portion, and price are all great. They have a nice little outdoor patio too. The staff is always super nice too. Oh and their menudo is fire!!
