We were seated at our 3:15 appointment. We watched as tables were bussed and waiters walked around to other tables, noticing that nobody met our eyes. At 3:30 I went up and mentioned that we'd been there a bit and nobody had talked to us (I have to admit, we arrived hungry). The person at the register was brusque. The food was amazing, but the service was subpar. It was hard to get a server to circle back with us to get milk for our tea and the food came out incorrectly the first time. Food was wonderful, but I'd go on maybe not a busy Saturday afternoon.

As always, the afternoon tea service at Chado was delightful! There were 2 large parties there and we were still given excellent service. In addition to the tea service, we ordered the Waldorf salad and it was delicious. Rather than a stuffy traditional English tea house, Chado is modern and comfortable and a perfect zen atmosphere. Highly recommend!
