Been here several times and food is consistently good and service is progressively worse. Workers and manager could care less about you. Have to either yell across the room or walk up to the counter to get their attention. And even then, you may or may not get what you ask for on the first try.
The pork bone broth soup was good, but I was a little disappointed with the side dishes. The portions were pretty small, and the pickled radish and kimchi looked more like scraps than actual sides. I was hoping for a bit more variety and better presentation.
Not many kid-friendly options, so we got the snowflake tteokgalbi. It was a little too salty, and the mashed potatoes were gummy.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Los Angeles! (Torrance)I had been feeling sick for a while and completely lost my appetite, but after eating here, I finally enjoyed food again. It honestly brought my appetite back.
I've tried almost every item on the menu, and every single dish has been amazing. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and the quality is consistently excellent. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.

Onki is a restaurant that has received mixed feedback from diners. The food has been described as great by some, with specific mentions of dishes like the Onki wagyu galbi, soy-marinated seafood platter, japchae with mushroom, shaved brisket jeon, galbi jjim, gamjatang, gaining gim, taekgalbi, and pork jowel in cilantro chichuri sauce. Some diners found the sauces and several dishes to be a bit too sweet, and the japchae was noted to have a chewy, slimy texture that was not what one diner expected. The gamjatang was not spicy at all, and the food was described as definitely for the American palette, not the Korean palette. The complimentary sides were praised as some of the best ever had, and the wagyu beef in large had an amazing presentation and comfortably fed three people with leftovers. The ambience is present and the restaurant is super clean and nice. Service has been described as ok by one diner, while another noted that service is progressively worse, with workers and the manager showing little attention. One diner mentioned that no barley tea or any kind of tea is served, with hot water given instead. The location has been through many changes, and there is hope that this restaurant succeeds.
