Based on the reviews, Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse is a true Orange County original, tucked away in Trabuco Canyon and operating since 1963. This steakhouse offers one of the most unique dining experiences in South OC. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else, with neckties hanging from the ceiling and a wonderfully rustic Western vibe. The food is fabulous, and anything ordered is delicious. The prime rib is truly the best prime rib ever enjoyed, and the tenderfoot hit the spot, perfect. All steaks are beautifully cooked, and the patty melt is perfectly cooked. The price is so reasonable compared to fancy steak places. The entire staff, from the valet guys outside to everyone inside, are absolutely amazing and sincerely friendly. The place has been amazing for years and has become a tradition for many. It may not look fancy, but the place, people, and food make up for it in a big way. The atmosphere is fun and unique, with a custom of cutting off ties, which adds to the unforgettable charm. It is a beautiful drive to get there, and it delivers every time.
