The staff was amazing and the owner was a very nice lady. I apologize. I forgot her name but she thanked me and it was just a great time. I will definitely be back.“

“honestly we were just craving italian and this place popped up. the moment we walked in it smelled so good i knew we were in for something special.

i got the lasagna and it was exactly what i wanted, super cheesy and hearty. my friend had the chicken parm and she said it was perfect even the pasta on the side was cooked right. the service was super friendly too our waiter was patient when we took forever to decide.

we sat outside and it was chill even on a busy night. the whole meal felt like a cozy sunday dinner at someones home.

I can’t believe we haven’t been yet and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Abu’s Tzatziki sauce was unbelievably delicious; light and flavorful.

“Tasty Food, But Service Can Be Disorganized
The food tastes good, and the portions are generous when the order is complete.

The place is small and can get very crowded during busy hours, with limited seating available. Staffing also seems limited - only one person handling everything: taking orders, processing payments, serving food, and cleaning tables. Because of that, you may find yourself wiping down a table yourself just to find a place to sit.

On my last visit, I ordered 4 meals and a drink. Three meals seemed complete, but one taco meal was missing the rice and beans, and the drink was missing as well. I noticed the missing drink while still there and asked for it, but only realized the missing sides after leaving. It wasn’t worth driving back for.

Overall, the food is tasty, prices are reasonable, but the place can be crowded and the service feels a bit disorganized.

Almost gave 3 stars based on the overall experience, but the food was genuinely good, so it earned the 4th star.“

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

“Welp! As the owner, I have to say it’s a sweet lil spot with great food on the weekends and a perfect spot to pick up anything you need during the week. A great getaway from the madness downtown and a place to reflect and be grateful.“

“Stopped by for lunch and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Donkatsu Plate, Spicy Tofu Soup Meal, and the Bulgogi Bowl, and every dish was delicious.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My son has a sesame allergy, and they immediately checked with the kitchen and confirmed the ingredients.

The donkatsu was the thinner, smashed pork chop style with a perfectly crispy coating, and the house sauce paired with it was especially good. The bulgogi was tender and packed with flavor. The spicy tofu soup was on the milder side, making it a great option for anyone who enjoys the flavor without too much heat.

The food came out surprisingly fast, everything tasted fresh, and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!“

“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. “I visited my brother who lives locally. He took me and our other brother here because he loves this place and goes frequently. Being a wine lover, he let me pick our dinner wine. Came across an O’Shaughnessy Cabernet and had to stop right there. I know the product, had the pleasure of drinking this with Luke Russ when he did a wine dinner in northern Illinois a few years back. The owner saw the bottle on our table and introduced himself to us and we talked about Luke. Great moment. Fabulous food! Asparagus fries, halibut, deviled eggs, butter cake…. It was all fabulous! We also ordered the sweet potato fries, which were probably the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which is hard to pull off since sweet potatoes can get mushy so easily. We’ll definitely be adding this spot into our regular restaurant rotation.“

Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “We have recently moved into the area and heard about 7 Hills from our new neighbors. We decided to try it. We arrived about 5:30 and were able to order quickly and find a seat. Good thing we did because, before long, the line was out the door. The hospitality was excellent and the food and beer were delicious!!! It is so wonderful to have a neighborhood spot like this that the neighbors support. We provided our own Angels viewing, but the Phillies were on their TV! Highly recommend the butter chicken & tikka masala (basic, I know, but SO GOOD). We also have a vegan friend who always appreciates the number of options for her. The mango lassi is also delish!“
