“My review is a bit biased and I will start out with this. My current partner and I met here on our first date. Our waitress was so sweet and kind and gave us lots of time and space. I think she knew it was out first date. The food was good. It's a bit small but cozy. The place is well decorated and clean. The waitress was welcoming and friendly. The bathrooms are small but also clean and fresh smelling(we went in the middle of July). It's a great place. Although I will say I had zero cell signal. This place is lovely and will definitely hold a special place in my heart. ? D+A 7/16/23“

“This place is a hidden gem. The food and drinks are fabulous. We had reservations and the only reason I gave it four stars is because when we walked in someone walked by said be right there and 10 minutes later they came back to seat us. We've been there for brunch which is a must. Dinner is more of a family style. We did the 24 oz for 4 people and was a perfect size. The chef's presentation is artistic and plating is beautiful. Our waiters have been awesome. Very attentive. Farm to table and a must try!“

“You should definitely come explore this winery. It's beautifully landscaped and the wine is made on site with grapes sourced from notable growing regions of California. Very nice original, rustic California vibe here with a genuine feel. Would make for a spectacular wedding venue!“

If you are in the area and have nothing to do, it's not a bad choice to relax and spend an afternoon.The wine tasting isn't bad, the staff is very knowledgeable about their wine, but next time I will get a bottle instead. Ordered a cheese board, not bad but a bit pricey.“

“Kingchops is one of my favorite place for lunch, I usually come to this Plaza at 11:00 AM before the busy lunch time, parking can be tricky at 12:00 PM, however it is mostly the same throughout most Irvine area. 1. Food: My favorite will be the Pork Chop Dry Noodle (#2), the pork chop is packed with flavor, not too over fried, but just crispy enough for my taste. I also enjoy the porkchop soaked in the house special vinegar, as it has a flavorful taste. Personally, I always like it with dry noodle, the size of noodle is not to thick nor too thin, just the right size for me. The add on topping goes well with the noodle with or without the pork chop, by far it is the most consistent, I been working nearby for the past 3 years. 2. Price: at around $12-14 (tax + tip) per person for lunch, the price is about the same for surrounding restaurants, and by far the best pork chop compare to A+J or I-Tea Café. A+J has a cleaner taste to it which is also great, but if you like a more flavorful taste Kingchops is the place! I-Tea Café is also great, but I found the batter on their pork chop/ chicken chop tends to be a little too thick for my liking. 3. Service: Great service, always clean and food ready with in mins of your order. when you dine in, you also get some free green tea! Place is small so come early for lunch, to go is also an great option to skip the line and busy parking at this plaza.“

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “We celebrated a family birthday on a Monday night. The manager, Erick made it so easy and convenient to order food in advance and staff made sure it was all served as we arrived and it was warm and delicious. I'm surprised more people don't know about this great pizza parlor. Thank you Erick and staff for making it so memorable. We'll definitely be back.“

“"Express" without sacrificing quality; this is fresh and top-level Mediterranean, best rice I've ever had, can't forget the flavor... I drive out of my way to come here and it's worth the effort; I initially decided to try it due to the fact that it's the most highly-rated Mediterranean restaurant in the area, and I've now become a loyal customer. Mike (the owner) is so warm and friendly, he's a wonderful host and even gave me Persian caramel tea on the house on my 1st visit. It was late at night but the naan bread was very fresh, as was everything else... When I told Mike how impressed I was to have such fresh bread just 30 minutes before they closed, he told me they bake it fresh with every order. The Feta Cheese & Walnut Salad was wonderful with fresh herbs and veggies and paired well with the Mixed Rice Special (a mixture of lentil, sautéed onion, raisins, dates, mixed with white Basmati rice). The seasonings of the rice were outstanding and I honestly couldn't tell you where to find anything comparable. On a subsequent visit I had the Vegetarian Eggplant Stew and while it was also seasoned and prepared very well and I have no complaints, the salad with rice are going to be my usual.“

“This is a regular each time I am in this neighborhood. Recently I tried the Misal Pav. The gentleman at the counter told me it was his wife’s recipe and to expect like Mumbai misal. Made of sprouted beans, it came with side of farsan, picked onion and buttery pav. It was spicy and flavorful and took me back to authentic taste - just as I was told! Will be back to try again. The place is clean and service is fantastic.“

“I’ve been here a few times but this is the first time bringing the family and going with a group. You owe it to yourself to go to brunch here. Bottomless mimosas are the go to for the price but don’t sleep on the spicy Bloody Mary. Food is always excellent and I love their ground mustard with the Tour de Sausage. But all the food we’ve had is amazing.The owner Matt is a true humble gentleman and you can tell he cares immensely about his team there. I didn’t think to take pictures of the food but we did stock up on pickled goodies.Dietary restrictions: One member of our group has a pretty severe gluten allergy. Bru employees are always accommodating and understanding of her needs to avoid a severe allergic reaction.“

“Stopped in for a late dinner and we were very pleasantly surprised. Service was absolutely fantastic, all staff were extremely attentive, from the time we walked in until we left. They greet each customer as you enter and exit and make you feel genuinely welcomed. We ordered the pomegranate martini and seventh heaven drinks. Both were very good. Not too hungry so we got the appetizer sampler (forgot the name) and a bowl of Tom kha gai. Everything was good. We will definitely be back.“

“I don't know where to start. Well first of all, the staff and service is absolutely amazing. Second, the food chefs kiss. Every single thing on the menu is delicious. Carnitas tacos, albondigas, mole, chips and salsa, the rice, carne asada, chicken tortilla soup, garden salad with chicken, you name it. Casa taquito is an amazing place and it feels like a family and they welcome you with open arms. It feels comforting, It feels like home from the moment you walk in.“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! And say Hi to Monja from Mark and Dianne from Arizona!“
