“The food tastes very authentic and not dry like other halal places. Fries are cooked fresh on the spot so it comes out hot. The cashier was kind to us and gave us multiple handfuls of ketchup. Overall the atmosphere felt homey and warm, would try again.“

“Placed our order and I preferred the salt and pepper fish. But I ordered the salt and pepper tofu. Well my taste buds were yelling at me! Why? They said! You want salt and pepper fish! Welp. My order came quickly, I tasted it. It was good. My taste buds won out. They gladly switched my order for me, no questions asked.

“I have been going to this restaurant for almost 18yrs now, probably had everything on the menu and never once did I get a bad meal. Prime Rib best in town and Broasted Chicken is off the hook. Service has always been great.“

“I met with a friend here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with the food selection as well as the diverse selection of drinks available. Both dishes ordered were delicious and served in a timely manner (Carbonara pasta/burger). We had requested a table outside, and a staff member immediately came outside and asked us if we wanted an outside heater turned on, which made our experience even more enjoyable.“

“Yafa used to be an awesome place. As it has grown and hired new people, they are not well trained. They often have a difficult time running their computer and while the food remains good, the service at the beginning was really impressive. It has dropped off substantially and is essentially on par with what one should expect at a typical fast food restaurant. Expect to wait a long time if you go in with anyone else there.“

“I’m from Sacramento, come through Tracy often. Found this star bread place closest one to San Ramon.
Let me say this, their star bread is amazing!!! But!! Every time I have came here the service is really slow, so if your in a hurry be prepared to wait a bit before you get help or your bread that’s why I gave a 4 stars.“

“When you walk in you feel the warm welcoming friendly energy of the Island people. Everyone was so kind and polite and all seemed to enjoy their job and working together. It’s the only place I have found here in Tracy that sells Malasadas (delicious doughnuts). Their chicken teriyaki bowls are another go to favorite of my family. Definitely recommend.“

“My husband and I came here for the first time this last weekend. He ordered the ox tail pho and I ordered the coconut ramen soup. We also got an order of the spam fried rice. For our drinks, my husband did water and I got the Vietnamese sweetened condensed iced coffee.
Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The service was great and the staff were kind and helpful.
I took left overs home and shared them with my mom the next day. She was blown away! My coconut ramen had chicken and several shrimp in it.

Everything was really fresh and tasty. Really good. Hubs ordered the Washington roll and he enjoyed it. Anything with the brown sauce and spicy mayo is delish in my opinion! It’s a family owned business where the cook has 23 years experience which resulted in him buying the place. Only a few months into the ownership, he is doing well with consistent food and repeat customers. No worries that you are going to get a different cook every time. He is the only cook who knows what he’s doing. He even has a signature garlic butter. In fact, he makes everything. Not some chain restaurant that uses mass production food from who knows where. “Went in late night about 9pm...wife and kids all wanted pizza. To our surprise we were the only family there.. place was very clean and employees were very polite. Kids had fun playing in their gaming area and pizza was ???....not to mention beer...definitely the place to go for good pizza, good environment air conditioning was perfect too“
