“Sushi of the hidden cloud is impressive. Who would’ve thought that there such quality sushi up here in Truckee. All the raws are fresh and beautifully made.

What’s weird is that they take reservations and the workers are surprisingly uptight about it. We were there at open and 2 tables were reserved for a party that’s gonna be there in 40 min. It was shaded, and it’s hot and sunny. So we figured we ordered and we’ll be done before these folks even show up, but we were told to move and can’t sit there by the server. Rather unreasonable, and with limited outdoor only seating, it doesn’t make much business sense to take reservations. I think more money can be made if it’s just first come first serve first serve. And I think owner can be a bit more lax on the seating protocol“

“I don’t understand the lower ratings for this place. We had a great experience. Service was attentive and they were able to accommodate a special request. Menu had lots to offer and the food was delicious. Unlike some other restaurants at the resort, portions were generous. And Tipsy Tuesday offers 2 for 1 wine by the glass with generous pours. Please give them a try. You won’t be sorry!“
