“Came in hoping for brunch after a hardcore hiking and learned that breakfast wraps up at 11:45am — worth knowing. No regrets though, because I got the smash burger combo instead and it was excellent. Everything tasted freshly made, the drink came free, and the service was genuinely lovely. Only one thing bothers me was the heat… I’ll be back, and next time I’ll turn up before 11:45am.“

“This spot saved my hungry life the other night. I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! Lovely, lovely customer service & EXCELLENT hot chicken strips with fries ? ? Yum! I HIGHLY recommend ?? ☺️ ??

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“Best nostalgic feeling when I received my wedding photos from 2 months ago. Choosing Maravilla Latin Cuisine to cater our wedding added to the magic of it all. Best choice ever ! We can still hear all of our family and friends chat about how delicious the food was. After frantically searching for the perfect food truck Kimberly made the entire process an ease from the very first call. We knew their adorable little food truck was photogenic but didn't expect how well it looked in person as well. My husband and I were delighted to know that there were vendors out there who cared more about clients than simply getting the job done. If you are looking to get your money's worth, with caring customer service, excellent presentation, AND delicious savory food, I cannot stress enough what a special touch Maravilla Latin Cuisine will give your event. “These churros are so delicious 😋 you won’t stop at just eating one 🤤. Jose was there with a young lady I didn’t get her name but they both were very professional and welcoming. They offered some toppings for the churros as well. I only tried the chocolate dip but to be honest the churros by them selves are just so good. I highly recommend booking them.“

This place is amazing. I mean I cannot say one thing bad about this place. Besides the lemonade isn’t the best.
Staff here are super friendly and welcoming. The food doesn’t take long and isn’t priced too high.
I got a Cali burrito and everyone knows I’m a burrito lover. This might be the best Cali burrito in Los Angeles.
The chicken taco was phenomenal and my pizza was good. Full of flavor but I wouldn’t get it twice.
Of all the taco spots I’ve visited this is my favorite. I’ll be back this Friday for round two.

“We moved to Highland Park 14 years ago based on our apartment’s proximity to El Pique. Technically we owe El Pique our gratitude for not only for making the finest tacos in LA, but also helping us to find affordable rent controlled housing (we still live in the same apartment). I’ve been vegetarian for almost two decades now and El Pique makes THE BEST vegetarian tacos and THE BEST red salsa in all of the land. My husband who eats meat, orders mainly veggie tacos or their veggie quesadilla. If you haven’t had their veggie quesadilla, you need to get right and order it—no veggie quesadillas is better (if you order during day tho, ask for no lettuce). Their horchata and Champurrado are yummy too. On top of all of this, everyone who works here is a lovely person, they make us smile every time.
El Pique is so beloved among our friends, that we did a band photo shoot in front of the truck and then we introduced El Piq to other musician friends, and they also did a photo shoot there. Again, they’re the best, go there.

“Wanted to try the truck out and it was amazing. I ordered the 3 taquitos cup and they were so good. Crispy chicken along with tasty guacamole, lettuce, cream they were so good. A lot of flavor in that cup, I wish I ordered more and I will be going back again for sure.“

Just a heads-up avoid coming during Dodgers games, as it gets really crowded, making parking and wait times longer. The best part? “I’m so grateful that these guys were the caterers for a commercial shoot a couple of days ago. Their Life Rice breakfast was so delicious and nutritious, not always the case with healthy, gluten free options. The seared ahi for lunch was perfect!
