“I moved one block from this restaurant,from all the other places this is one of my top 3 in the area, it's very cozy & most importantly, the food is great & it's very clean, it's casual for quick eat or even for friends & families or dates, I recommend it highly, try the steak Shawarma or the beef & chicken combo plate, im a regular now , I come here at least once a week“

“Haig’s Kabob House is hands down the best for BBQ! I ordered takeout for a party of six, and the staff was super professional and understanding. My order was ready right on time, no issues at all.We got beef lule kebobs, chicken breast skewers, and beef filet mignon skewers—everything was juicy, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how we wanted. The texture and flavor were amazing.They also have fresh salads and appetizers that go great with the meal. “I’ve been coming to Corner Kebab literally since shortly after it opened…roughly 25 years!
We immediately clicked with the owner and have been so happy to see his continued growth, success and stability! He is always right there, speaking to and working with customers and is ALWAYS friendly!

Unexpected to find this kind and quality of Mediterranean in this corner of the valley, no matter where we are, we find a way to come by to enjoy lunch or dinner…always a treat!

The salads and sides are always super fresh and served plentiful, the protein/mains are made to order and always served in an extremely timely and professional manner…but this isn’t fast food at all!

The ambiance is super clean, fresh and friendly, the owner and his team and happy to see you, happy to accommodate you and want to see you enjoy a (huge) meal.

The lentil soup is always hot and authentic, the hummus is creamy and delicious, the lavash and pita served warm and soft. The rice always tastes sooo fantastic, cooked perfectly and seasoned lightly. The protein is always cooked ‘just right’ and the food presentation and service are literally second to none…EVERY time! The food quality and consistency is absolutely amazing, always good, fresh and served hot!

I hope to keep coming back another 25 years, you MUST go and enjoy! I can’t speak highly enough about Corner Kebab“

“Great spot for kabobs. Most plates are under $20 (a lot under $15), and the food is solid.

The lule kabob was really good — juicy and flavorful.

What stood out most was the service. The ladies were super friendly and made me feel welcome.

“Took me 35 years to finally visit this legendary spot and I’m glad I did. The food was excellent and definitely has that homemade taste that you don’t get very often while eating out. The owner Armen is an awesome guy, super down to Earth and you can tell he really hustles and works hard to take care of his customers.

I don’t think “complaint” is the right word but I guess my only “issue” is that it is a small spot and literally only has like 6 spots where you can sit. This isn’t really their fault but just something to be aware of. We got lucky and found seating but a lot of people were taking it to go or just eating on the trunk of their car.“

“Since I was born, kabob has been my favorite food, full stop. I’ve had kabob all over LA County. They charge you $38 at Raffi’s and Pardis for a kabob barg plate, give you the same amount of meat, and fill the plate with rice. Masis Kabobs’ food has no flavor; they don’t marinate their meat correctly and don’t cook their tomato enough, as it’s always mostly raw.
Harry over at Moon Mart Kabob gives you the best kabob, jigar, and abgoosht. If it’s you and a few friends, go over to Moon Mart Kabob, and you’ll realize why it’s so good, in my opinion. He charges you $20 for kabob barg, and he’s such a nice guy that you’ll be really happy eating there and giving him your business—not just because of his niceness, but also because he knows his stuff.“

We shared a vegetarian platter which consisted of falafel, tabouli, hummus, baba ganoush and cabbage salad. “The perfect meal to break my daily intermittent keto fast. I eat the salad bowls, sub grilled veg for the hummus and I'm relatively carb free. Carbs from the plants but no processed or concentrated carbs from sugar, seeds or beans. Fresh flavorful ingredients, rich flavors and very satisfying. Nice self serve sauce bar with seasoned yogurt, a dill ranch and good hot sauce similar to a mild harissa. Fills me up, satisfies me and then start the timer on the next 24 hrs.“

“I had my family at The Grill Stories Restaurant yesterday Feb. 28, 2026 There were 6 of us and the food was amazingly delicious we had two big family platers and extra sides , my daughter needs gluten free so she had the Mediterranean salad alone separately she said it was fantastic. The outside dining was very comfortable and cozy , it was a beautiful 85° weather . The round lady hostess and other people there were very friendly and welcoming . After we stuffed ourselves there was still plenty of food to pack and take home . Ultimately it was a great experience and with all the food it was approximately $35 per person including tax and tip, for most people it would be less because we ordered a lot of delicious food. “I got introduced to stocker market 2 months ago, they are a friendly family owned market. Varooj and his wife does the kitchen orders. Had the great recipe passed down b generations. This was the first place I’ve seen the Armenian spaghetti (Macaron) sold freshly prepared. Her cooking is awesome and the store has all the specialty Armenian products. Support the family markets trying to service their community and are doing an amazing job. They are not as expensive as the bigger stores. They also have koobideh at $7 a pound. “Certainly not the only one, but definitely a wonderful choice to get Mediterranean food for lunch or a quick dinner. The place is located in a a cute little building (missed it on the first drive-by) with a mini garden to sit outside at one of four tables. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, cleanly presented. Hit on the menu - I was told - is the Chipotle Chicke. I went for the lamb gyros and the spinach dip - and loved both: Everything was tasty - and good to come back another time - so four stars :-) Now, thank you for reading my comment. Now, if you are curious enough about my "rating scheme", here's "the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back.
