“Haig’s Kabob House is hands down the best for BBQ! I ordered takeout for a party of six, and the staff was super professional and understanding. My order was ready right on time, no issues at all.We got beef lule kebobs, chicken breast skewers, and beef filet mignon skewers—everything was juicy, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how we wanted. The texture and flavor were amazing.They also have fresh salads and appetizers that go great with the meal. “This has become our unofficial go-to spot for celebratory meals, and the food has been excellent every time. My wife always orders the lule, while I get the chicken breast, both are consistently tender and juicy. Be sure to try the eggplant caviar and caesar wrap, too. A special shoutout to Armen, one of the coolest people around, who takes the time to get to know you while preparing hundreds of orders during the day. He even discussed known allergies with us (only sesame) so our daughter can enjoy their food on our next visit. We’ll definitely be back soon so he can prepare a plate for our daughter.“

“I was car shopping and got hungry, we came into this place by Google maps and let me just say, this place is awesome, we had hummus, potato salad and yogurt and cucumber appetizer, AMAZING, we got two platters one ground beef and steak and One chicken and steak, both steaks were cook to perfection (it's freaking rare to get perfect steaks in any restaurant) chicken was tender and juicy, ground beef was nice and soft, portions are really good, I m a heavy hitter and I ended up full, also Eddie is the man, great customer, ask for him when coming here (unfortunately I forgot to take pictures)“

“I had my family at The Grill Stories Restaurant yesterday Feb. 28, 2026 There were 6 of us and the food was amazingly delicious we had two big family platers and extra sides , my daughter needs gluten free so she had the Mediterranean salad alone separately she said it was fantastic. The outside dining was very comfortable and cozy , it was a beautiful 85° weather . The round lady hostess and other people there were very friendly and welcoming . After we stuffed ourselves there was still plenty of food to pack and take home . Ultimately it was a great experience and with all the food it was approximately $35 per person including tax and tip, for most people it would be less because we ordered a lot of delicious food. “I got introduced to stocker market 2 months ago, they are a friendly family owned market. Varooj and his wife does the kitchen orders. Had the great recipe passed down b generations. This was the first place I’ve seen the Armenian spaghetti (Macaron) sold freshly prepared. Her cooking is awesome and the store has all the specialty Armenian products. Support the family markets trying to service their community and are doing an amazing job. They are not as expensive as the bigger stores. They also have koobideh at $7 a pound. “Certainly not the only one, but definitely a wonderful choice to get Mediterranean food for lunch or a quick dinner. The place is located in a a cute little building (missed it on the first drive-by) with a mini garden to sit outside at one of four tables. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, cleanly presented. Hit on the menu - I was told - is the Chipotle Chicke. I went for the lamb gyros and the spinach dip - and loved both: Everything was tasty - and good to come back another time - so four stars :-) Now, thank you for reading my comment. Now, if you are curious enough about my "rating scheme", here's "the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back. To achieve five stars, I must be willing to take a detour of thirty minutes or more to go again. Again, thank you for reading this.“

“Had the beef and chicken kabob wraps with fries, very good and tasty food! Very fresh as well. Super clean restaurant, wasn't too busy which was surprising but I guess I am years late to the hype. Really good food compared to what we get in Canada, I will definitely come back on my next Cali trip because the food was definitely worth it. Sucks that the location is kind of out of the way of most things, but if you're going to Universal or Warner Bros, this is not too far out of the way in a more local residential part of California, giving you the at home vibes you miss during your vacationing or getaway trips.“
