“I love coming here for the bagels with cream cheese. The food is good but it is expensive, be ready to pay premium prices. Anyway, there’s a lady at the front counter which seems to be the leader but seems to always be mad. Also, I noticed her sticking out her tongue for some reason, and being that it’s a food facility it looks a bit gross. The food is good the bagels are awesome. Please talk to this person, when I came she seemed to be upset with the employees. Maybe it was just me but the tongue sticking out is a no no.“

Their refreshing glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice or some of the best coffee in Irvine. My favorite bagels are the dried tomato as well as the garlic.

“I really wanted to like this place, because the environment is nice and the food is unique and interesting. I only got a pork sandwich and coffee to go. All four coffee dispensers were empty, no lids or sleeves in sight. Sandwich was messy and flavor was underwhelming but the bagel quality was good.

Edit: in my defense, I did bring up the empty coffee immediately. But from the perspective of someone who got stuff to go. My sandwich was ready so I ended up sitting down, I ate the whole thing and still waited several minutes before any of the carafes refilled. Im not trying to be combative but having all 4 coffee dispensers completely empty at any given time is kind of unacceptable for a breakfast minded spot. Either way, I updated to 4*“

“Great server. Good food, as always. I had the avocado sandwich with yummy potato salad. We were celebrating my birthday so the waitress came out with a huge piece of warm boysenberry pie alamode. It was delicious! I highly recommend.
P.S. the garlic chicken salad is another favorite of mine.“

“Everything was exceptionally good. I decided on The Dodger which was fresh, delicious, and everything a smoked salmon bagel should be. My partner always goes for a basic sesame with cream cheese and said it’s the best he’s had on the West Coast. Even the fresh orange juice was delicious. “The store has a cozy and warm atmosphere. The friendly owners provide friendly explanations. They toast delicious bagels warmly. I ordered morning rush coffee recommended by the male owner and ate it with cream cheese on the seat in front of the store. The bagels were chewy and very delicious. The coffee was also great. It was good, good to eat for breakfast. and the price just right

“Delicious, fresh, soft bagels! This place is a must try if you’re looking for fresh bagels. I come here all the time to get a half dozen. They have many flavors, Asiago, jalapeño, everything, garlic, sun dried tomato, sourdough, blueberry, wheat, poppy, coconut; and so many more. They also have tubs of cream cheese you can buy, I tried the chive & onion cream cheese and the Lox (smoked salmon) cream cheese, both SO good!
Once you try these, you can’t go back to store-bought bagels.“

“My son and I went here last Saturday at his request. I ordered a cinnamon roll and he had an everything bagel. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Service was also very good.

What would have made the experience better is freshly grounded coffee. I know there is a Starbucks less than 100 yards away that they would compete against but sometimes it is matter of convenience if one is ordering in.“

“What a find. Mom and Pop shop with the best breakfast burritos I’ve had! Friendly, welcoming and with the true vibe of a small business that cares. The donuts were excellent as was the coffee. We ate in and regulars were filing in getting their morning coffee and breakfast. These places are hard to find close to big corporate giants like the Mouse. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito, a sour cream donut and cup of cafe con leche. Wife got a ham, egg and cheese burrito, sugar donut and cafe con leche. All excellent!“

“Before I begin about the bagels, I need to give the cream cheese the crowning moment it deserves. I chatted with the owner, told her I was from NYC and a recent transplant. That I was very excited to try their bagels. She told me I had to try the cream cheese and included it with my order. She was right ! That cream cheese is a level I have never known !!! Absolutely delicious. Now the bagels. Hot honey and pepperoni bagels is a bagel that I never imagined but can’t imagine never having it again !! The pretzel bagel as well! My daughter loved the chocolate chip and everything. I also loved the onion bagel. The shop is just beautiful and the owners reflect the beauty of their shop and their love that goes into their bagels! You’ve hooked us and we will be back!!!“

However, on two occasions, I requested a sesame seed bagel and was told that none were available to find that not two minutes after my order a fresh batch is brought out. I now find it necessary to ask about what bagels are to come, as less than ten minutes is no bother to wait. It is also also a tad difficult to find this Einstein Bros. Bagel if you know not where to look: it is located inside the Phoenix Food Court, and the presence of the bagel shop is not advertised from outside.“

“I have been buying donuts from Sak Donuts for many years. The donuts are always fresh and delicious! The employees are friendly as well. “Whenever I want to get donuts I only go to Kenny's Donuts. You can keep your Dunkin Donuts which I grew up on back in 1989 long before they came to California and compared to Kenny's Donuts I'd rate them a 3 stars out of 10. I don't understand why everyone always gives Krispy Kreme such high praise for their donuts cuz personally they barely get 1 star out of 10. I won't rate their shops just their donuts cuz I'm sure their employees and the restaurants would get way more stars than the generic taste of a simple glazed donut which I sadly wasted money on trying it out back in 2002. You want great taste and quality you go to Kenny's Donuts and I promise you'll be going back every morning but don't go before 430-5am cuz they make everything fresh and warm after they open at 3am and all the good stuff takes time to make but I usually go around 515-530am when I know everything is made and still warm and there is never more than 2 people inside. If you like regular glazed, glazed twist, glazed donut holes, maple/chocolate bars, jelly, then Kenny's is the best place to go and every donut is $1.45 - $1.65, or you can order a breakfast sandwich, to go with a hot cup of coffee, or a made to order blended drink off the wall picture menu, or a cold drink from their 2 big drink refrigerators. If you're a fan of racing legend John Force you might just see him there, he's a longtime regular and goes often. I stood in line behind John a few months ago they even have his signed picture up on the wall. He lives only a few minutes away. I highly recommend Kenny's Donuts nextdoor to Canyon Inn bar & grill.“
