“This was our first time coming here and it was legitimately some of the best late night food I've had. We came in pretty late and ordered chicken, fries, and shrimp dishes and that was more than enough for our group. The service was excellent and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. I will for sure be back with other people.“
“Server: Madison - She's so amazing and lovely and attentive (but not overly)! Also, a winning personality and very hospitable. Food: 1) House Burger w/ Gluten Free Bun - So tasty! The chef(s) are absolute flavor artists. Love is in all their food creations. (Gluten free bun is NOT dull and dry, it's one of the good ones). 2) Crispy Rice/Spicy Albacore - Dude, what the heck!? We've had these apps at every restaurant that has them and for me this was the best creation/version. It was diced fish, not 'finely minced' like other places, with yummy sauce and red pepper flakes (nice touch!) on immaculately seared rice patties! Ambiance: Outdoor eating area has heaters for when it's chillier, and it's very floral and nature'y. Lovely! Prices:Reasonable for the level of effort put into the food! Love this place.“
“We relaxed and enjoyed the end of a busy day here and the gentleman who served us let us know as we paid our tab it was his first day. He was professional and very pleasant. Thank you front room for hiring a good quality person in a time when quality people can be hard to find. We enjoyed the time spent there and look forward to a future visit.“
“I'm absolutely in love with this place! The layout is so unique - when you walk through the "front door," you're still outside; stairs take you down to an outdoor patio with a beautiful large tree in the center. There is a bar out there, though it's been closed whenever I've been, probably because I've never gone during the summer. Once you've reached the patio, to the right is the real front door Lol. Step inside & you'll see a casual typical pub to the right, down a couple more stairs, windows will be open to the patio with favorable weather. To the left of the main entrance is a cozy, mahogany, more formal dining area complete with a fireplace. This layout alone is enough to enjoy a drink or dessert, but the food I've had was delicious, too. I love the "Black Bush Stew," which is a delicious beef stew (generous chuncks) with a dollop of mashed potatoes, 2 lamb chops & a shot of Black Bush whiskey! It's no longer on the menu, but I last went in February & our server was amazing - friendly, funny, & accommodating - & had it made for me anyway! I haven't been on a night with live music, but that would be icing on the cake. Love this place!“
“Had the Drunken Fries with Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage and it was absolutely delicious ? definitely recommend coming here for a beer and food in DTSA. Or if you are walking from another bar and need something to soak up your drinks, this is a place to do it with good eats. Service was a touch slow, but it could've been due to low staff or it being busy for trivia night. And they do cook the food fresh upon order (they had a sign at the register) so it is piping hot (which my food was ??). I cannot argue with any of that“
“Awesome ambiance and great hospitality, stopped by with a few coworkers for some drinks and was very happy I did . Food and drinks are amazing . This place exceeded my expectations and every staff member is so kind , really recommend coming here you won't be disappointed!“
“Food ordered: Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak.Taste: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak at The Iron Press is delicious. The wagyu steak is tender and flavorful, and the beer cheese is rich and creamy. The grilled bell pepper, mushroom, and onion add a nice sweetness and complexity to the sandwich. The French roll is perfectly toasted and holds up well to the weight of all the ingredients.Price: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak is $17.Presentation: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak is served on a paper plate with a side of pickle.Staff: The staff at The Iron Press is friendly. They are are able to supply me with extra utensils and napkins for my needs..Overall, I highly recommend the Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak at The Iron Press in Seattle, WA. It is a delicious and satisfying sandwich that is well worth the price.“
“NICE LUNCH ! My wife and I hit this Whole Foods Market in Newport Beach on Saturday morning for most of our weekly grocery needs. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and when we left....thankfully the Fashion Island huge multi level parking garage is straight across the street. After taking care of our grocery needs we headed to the tavern ( opens at midday ) at the rear of this store. We've had lunch here a few times and it's all been good. We parked our full shopping cart beside a table and I fetched a menu from the bar counter. Juana the manager / server / bartender said hi. I asked for a couple of iced waters. My wife selected the TTLA Sandwich ( Tempeh bacon, garlic aioli, green leaf lettuce, tomato, avocado, toasted ciabatta, side salad or fries ) with Fries option and I decided on the Pulled Pork Sandwich ( BBQ pulled pork, BBQ sauce, cabbage, ranch, pickles, toasted brioche bun, side salad or fries ) with Fries option. My Pulled Pork Sandwich & thick cut Fries came out within a few minutes but my wife was left wondering about her order. A minute or 2 later Juana came to our table and said the kitchen was out of Tempeh Bacon ( bacon made from fermented soy beans ) . WHAT'S THAT ? Not being vegetarians we had no idea that Tempeh Bacon was a fake bacon. GIVE US THE REAL THING ! Juana said they can substitute regular bacon for the fake stuff. Eventually my wife's BTLA Sandwich with thick cut Fries was brought out by Juana. NO PROB ! I think the lunch menu should be clearer when describing the ingredients...in particular the Tempeh Bacon. We were both pretty happy with our lunch....I did mention to Juana they should go easier on the BBQ sauce. GOOD SPOT !“
“The food was epic - inspired, tasty and delightfully presented. The staff clearly works as a team and all dining guests benefitted from this. Although it is an open space with lots of hard surfaces, making ambient noise an issue, the thoughtful and attentive staff made us feel special and valued. We enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely return.“
“I've eaten her twice, sharing their chicken nachos with two others and enjoying a Smog City Groundworks Coffee Porter on tap. The nachos were plentiful with flavorful chicken, plenty of cheese, olives, tomatoes, jalapenos and sides of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The tortilla chips were nice and crispy. They have a wide selection of craft beer on draft, so you'll find something for whatever your mood. The servers were also attentive both times. If you're a sports fan, the numerous large screen TVs on every wall will ensure you don't miss a play. While I visited during the Cal State Fullerton students' winter break, I could imagine the lively energy when they return. Situated in a cool part of town with brick buildings and appealing aesthetics, Fullerton Brew Co. offers not just great food and drinks but also a vibrant location to explore with plenty of nearby stores. A definite go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable time.Parking: I was able to park in one of two large parking lots both times, but I did have to circle a couple times to find a spot. Parking was free at the time I went, but did become a paid lot later in the evenings.“
“Scored some tickets on Stub Hub and got to watch the Angels play from our seats at Brewery X. We got there a little early and checked out the bar and hung out at one of the indoor bar tops. It was nice to have this option and stay in the cool AC before the game started. The sun was bright and hot at our seats. We enjoyed some seltzers and beers and once we got to our seats we had the most delicious carnitas nachos we have ever had at the ballpark. It was a fun experience to hang out at Brewery X, have great seats and in seat dining with delicious food. Only wish I could order my favorite Zebra popcorn to my seat. It was simple enough to take a walk from our seats and visit a concession stand on club level.“

“Went on a Thursday night after the original place I wanted to dine at was closed and boy was I not disappointed!!Per the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered the bells cocktail and grain bowl. And i’m so glad I listened to their recommendations! The cocktail was unique and not overly sweet; perfectly balanced. The grains bowl was beautifully presented and the flavor was divine! The overall freshness and portion of each component was perfect. I go out to eat to enjoy meals that I wouldn’t or can’t make myself, and this was truly something I could not make any better in my own kitchen. I was skeptical of the quinoa at first because when I make it the flavor profile is soso, but here they really seasoned it well and it carried the delicious veggies it was topped with. I’m grateful for such a flavorful plant based / vegan dish at a reasonable price for the portion. The service was also awesome. I asked for something to add some spice to the meal and was presented with not 1, not 2, but 3 options! The Serranos and chili sauce were the perfect additions to an already flavorful dish.I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family, and will be back the next time i’m in Costa Mesa.Thank you for making quality drinks and even better food! Also bonus points that I was able to bring my puppy with me to dine on the patio!“
