“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.“

“Today, October 17th at 5:30, I went and a guy served me terribly. I asked him what the Alfredo sauce was and he told me to go to the computer. I repeated the question for the third time and he didn't answer me in a bad way. Just that. I told him I'm leaving. Your attitude is horrible. I mean, there's always a super nice guy who serves me super well. We speak Spanish and he serves very well. I hope the owner sees this message and says something to him.“

“Hands down one the best pizza and for sure one of the BEST pastas in Los Angeles. I've tried almost all their pasta, from their bolognese to the Penne Vodka. They are all great. I normally order 2 dishes just for myself.
Best flavors you can't find any were else. There's no comparison to their pizza and the quality ingredients and toppings. I was raised in NY/NJ, so I'm very picky on pizza. I only have a few spots that I would ever recommend and Proper is on top!“

“All in all this place is great! Service was quick and our food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and the condiments for the chicken tenders were great. I should mention that the chicken tenders are also fairly sizable. Lastly, Citizens Public Market has a nice patio in the back and on the roof where you can enjoy your meal as well.

“There's a lot of places that do Korean Fried Chicken in the South Bay, but the bbq.chicken chain does it, in my humble opinion, the best. It's double fried, so the chicken is super crunchy and super moist. I always get the wings and I love the spicy original and the galbi style. Not the biggest fan of the Caribbean style, but it is a Korean chain, go figure. The Redondo beach location is only for takeout.“

“This place deserves more attention. I got the Chicago deep dish, and it was the best I've ever had. The sauce ALONE was the tastiest sauce I ever had on a pizza. Service was great, and I believe it was the owner who was assisting us and also making the pizza. Definitely friendly and a great person with top-tier hospitality. We WILL return to this place. Only down side is that the location is small, but they deserve more recognition for their work.

Instructions for reheating worked perfectly..although I can’t say my sauce “racing stripe” was as pretty as the Chefs 🤣🤣. Didn’t even matter though because this was the absolute best, and tastiest pizza I’ve ever had! Crust was thick and had the perfect crunch, sauce was divine (and I’m not even a big sauce fan), cheese oh so good and the pepperonis were heavenly 😌🍕😋. “The food here is not as good as the Macho burger in San Gabriel. They need to do a better quality control. The meat is super hard and dry here. We went here only because it’s closer but I would definitely go San Gabriel next time. BTW their ordering machine is not working when we are trying to order a combo meal. The waiter here is nice though, he tried his best to help us when the machine is not working. Otherwise I will give 3 stars instead of 4.“

“Freshly made food, several flavors to choose from, the chicken is nice and crispy, never greasy and definitely white meat! Downside is just that since it is not precooked it does take a while to wait for your meal, and the atmosphere is that of fast food with uncomfortable seats, loud music, and voices carry very well making this a very loud environment and difficult to visit with friends or family while eating in. They do have a patio you could take advantage of but it's right next to PCH and a busy side street.
I do like the option of ordering at the kiosk, I don't like that it still asks for you to leave a tip even though you pick your own food up at the counter and clean up after yourself. Otherwise, in the future I will be ordering ahead and just picking up and eating at home or on the beach!“

“We joined for their soft opening over the weekend. The food was great and the service was excellent. We especially liked the pretzels, the steak frites and the pastries.

Parking: The parking is inside the main structure by the stop light. It was nice and new!

“This place used to be so amazing but in the last 2-3 months I can tell somethings changed. Mac n cheese is always cold... chicken appears to be over cooked and extra greasy. Now the breading slides off the chicken... ewww. I tried them again last night. Same scenario. It's like it's new management or something

“I really enjoy this place. I am loyal customer and have usually had nothing but positive experiences here. Unfortunately, the last time I went with a few friends it was uncomfortable. There was a big group who brought small children to this location. The children were being neglected and most of the parents were very inibriated. The children started running around, yelling, and falling around the seating areas. Also, a few of the drunk parents were blocking one of the restroom entrances and they wouldn't move. My friends and I did our best to enjoy our night but it was difficult to do. We ended up stepping out for breaks and were able to find seating in the patio area which was how we were able to enjoy the rest our night. Although, many others left due to the chaos. I hope management enforces a rule to not allow children inside, especially after 10 pm. I cannot see myself returning if children being allowed becomes a normality in this place.“
