I like it better than sewer, kind of takes me to L.A vibes.
Cool vibes. This place probably offers the best craft cocktails in the city. We enjoyed the hand rolls and cut rolls. I would definitely recommend and come back.
Servers were very attentive/kind, atmosphere was great, and drinks were creative.
Food was good but not much more - mid. Sushi, ramen, and other bites were very middle of the road. Probably best for a late night drink with a bite on the side, but would prefer a highly rated Japanese/sushi place for actual dinner.

Strange Beast is a cozy cocktail bar known for its unique and flavorful specialty cocktails, such as the sidecar and old fashioned. The menu also features hand rolls, including a popular spicy tuna variety, as well as tasty Sama wings and now great burgers. While the portion sizes may be small, the restaurant offers a great atmosphere for drinks and a quick bite. The staff are really friendly and passionate about what they do and the food is incredible. It is a great place to hang out, eat, and drink shots of saki with great background music and comfy chairs. The food is great and service is excellent. Prices are a little high, be prepared to spend $$$. Chef's signature dishes are the burgers which are the best one can have.
