“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“If the review was solely about drinks, then I'd give it a 5 star. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. However, the parking lot in the back gets pretty dark after 5:30. However, please fix your kiosk system. There was a service fee on top of 10.25% tax for ordering the drinks yourself on the machine. Do better. Don't treat your loyal customers like garbage. It was extremely disappointing when I had to get told by your staff that they won't be able to refund the drinks.I was never taxed when I order directly from your cashier... and I had to pay a service fee for ordering myself. I was extremely disappointed.“

Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! We topped it off with every fruit selection they had, and overall it was a nice balance :)Selections for toppings are pretty standard, though other acai spots I've been to have definitely had a broader selection. “Great food and friendly staff. I dropped in for lunch. I ordered the half sandwich and side of fruit. Also I was craving a hot drink and they suggested their wellness tea that comes with lemon, ginger and honey. Everything was delightful. The sandwich comes with pickled jalapeños and avocado on your choice of lightly toasted bread. The fruit was nice mix of watermelon, cucumber and melons. I was just in the area for other reasons. “This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“

“Woke up with a tickle in my throat and knew I needed fresh juices n ginger asap. I called to ask if they make ginger shots and THEY DO! Just not listed on the website. I forget the prices he quoted me. I think 16oz ginger shot was $20? I got 8oz. The 8oz is easily about 3 shots so I'm a happy camper. Also got a large immune system booster. I'm not a beet juice person *at all* but this wasn't bad. Tasted the OJ and carrots more than beets. So glad I found this place. I've tried misc ginger shots in the area and all have been pretty subpar. I KNEW there had to be a place out here that served amazing fresh ginger shots and I didn't have to drive all the way to Silverlake. Will be back!!“

“A delicious diner in the valley. It’s one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone’s home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind.As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. “I heard about Jugos Naturales through word of mouth. I decided to pay the establishment a visit. When I entered the restaurant it reminded me about the mom n pop shops aesthetic found in Mexico. Very vibrant colors and many pictures of the food they sell. The two ladies working the establishment were very kind and did not rush us when we looked over the menu. We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. “Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“
