“On my first visit on 12/8/2025; to this Mexican restaurant I was greeted with a smile and asked about the menu of items that they had. I ordered burritos and oh my goodness they were very tasty and good. The host kept coming by to see if everything was good and if we needed anything. I was impressed with their hospitality and food. “This was our first time trying Mimi’s Café in Apple Valley, and we had such a great experience! We ordered the Crabcake Benedict and decided to share it — our waiter was incredibly nice and thoughtful. He even offered to split the dish onto separate plates for us, which made everything so convenient and enjoyable. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service made us feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and I have to say — the bathroom was spotless, which is always a good sign of a well-managed place. We’re so glad we stopped in and will definitely be coming back. A great first impression all around!”

“It is a typical Carl's Jr. establishment. I have been at this joint many times, while visiting my family in High Desert. The meals, that I would order, were quite delicious. At the same time, they were not on the expensive side. The wait lines, usually, were not long. Furthermore, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was quite clean. Definitely, I will visit this place again. Of course, I will only visit, after the pandemic is over. I have many good memories, eating or ordering meals, with my family members!”

Tokyo, like the city, Glowing in the dusk of polluted desert skies along a busy street 2 hours from nowhere. Dining alone I walked to the bar, may I was in order. “Ichiban, tall.” The chef, Kazu, careful not to be seen in his quick study of customers, cleaning the skin from a salmon filet, sharp is his knife, asks if I’m ready. I order off the menu, otoro and uni sushi. “If you have it.” He does. It’s glorious. I ask for a plate of sashimi, his choice, “I like everything from tamago to saba” indicating my adventurous side despite my American heritage. Again he obliges. Textures, flavors, chile, wasabi, playing with my senses so delightful. Im floating now in the ether, buying a beer for the chef which he opens to a cheers, the universal language on a plate, a shared emotion, his love for craft apparent. I almost forgot my jacket by the time I cleared my plate. I never the question the price of the experience, as it is priceless. And this man, in this place, at this time in my life is worth every single penny. 2 thumbs up, a cheers and an applause. Thank you chef. This is the best place in the High Desert hands-down for their food when I’m doing deliveries in the middle of the night, you can tell someone’s in there dropping off fresh produce, and they start early and the smell that comes out of there early in the morning is amazing. I REALLY hope they make it with Goat sometime, I'd love to try their take on that. . The Chicken was falling off the bone and SO JUICY!! And those radishes!! WOW, tender as soft boiled potatoes. . I can say that I've never had a Pansit with as much variety of veggies that was as balanced with the meat portion without being overwhelmed by either. This has been by far my favorite Pansit I've had to date. . But the Lumpia.... not just veggies and rice noodles. These have MEAT inside! Fluffy, flavored, savory meat and veggies that with their sauce (I dipped a few in the Beef Kaldereta, won't lie, I LOVE that kick!) that sweet & sour with that kick.... I'm drooling again just thinking about it. . This is a FANTASTIC hole in the wall that should be tried by everyone at least once. There is something for EVERYONE here!”

We were in the mood for sushi and once again were scrolling through Yelp when we saw 760 Sushi Bros, so we decided to give it a try. Well, what we found was a GREAT sushi restaurant. I agree with other reviewers that it is hard to find this little gem of a place. It is located in the corner of the strip mall. It is newly opened, and not a lot of seating, but don't let that turn you away because you will be missing out on such delicious sushi. We tried a variety of of different items, each and every one was amazing. They serve fresh ingredients, not fishy at all. You also get great service, which seems to be hard to find lately. You really must try 760 Sushi Bros. You will get great service, fantastic food, and will be helping out a family owned business. 760 Sushi Bros is our new go to place.”
