“We've been here a few times food delicious, clean and usually friendly staff.

Walked in young brown skinned full figured woman said sit anywhere you like with a smile ok, approached a table for two it still had dishes so turned towards another table also not clean, we wanted to sit by the window.

She then said sit over there by a group of 8, no thank you could you clear off a table. She seemed annoyed with our request after she said sit anywhere and her smile faded fast.

There was another younger girl who approached us to take our orders. She was pleasant and provided us with a nice time.

We live just around the corner and want to support our Black establishments, however attitude is not ok.“

“It's a perfect place. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. They take care of whatever you want. I love their food and soups. Especially Beyran soup and spicy kebab are my favourites. Tzatziki is also excellent. The prices are not too high. I am cheerful and happy with it. Good luck :)“

They were so accommodating when I arrived and poured me a much needed glass of champagne. Food was amazing! Bottomless mimosas were fantastic and you even get to choose different juices to add. “Today, 6.20.24, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the ordering process and, even though they are take-out only, they welcomed me with a cup of water and had plenty of shaded seating while you wait. Even during the lunch rush, the staff were prepared and poised. Would highly recommend!
Note: parking in their lot can be tight but the neighborhood just south of Beverly has parking, just read the signs.“

“It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.

I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.

The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.

I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.

We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.“

They don’t have many gluten free options. According to the others, the bread just tasted like regular white bread. The cream and strawberry sandwich was not magical. This one was out of stock of many of the food and drink items.

I will say try the strawberry milk!! So good!
Not much seating except outside and one or two tables inside.

I see an image on here where they have more tables inside against the orange wall, they are no longer there.

Bathrooms were locked even when we asked them to use them.

You get a good value for money when it comes to the portion sizes. Not sure I’ll go back but was worth the try ?

“When I tell you this place is incredible… on every point! Food amazing, atmosphere is such a vibe, service and staff are so welcoming and accommodating and QUICK!

We ordered the following for 3 people and were stuffed and had plenty of leftovers:

- chips and trio of salsa: I am still mind blown about the variety of salsas, the flavor complexity, the range of spice and ingredients in each. 10/10

- squash blossoms (forgot to take picture): so delightful, stuffed with a cheese mixture and the perfect consistency and crunch on the fried blossom. 10/10

- 3 mole plate: loved trying the different mole options, my palate is not quite as seasoned when it comes to mole so I favored the “traditional” sweeter brown mole. Would just get this one next time (forgot what they called it) 8.7/10

- carne asada plate: an assortment of Oaxacan cheese, grilled cactus, beans, mole enchilada, and the most tender, flavorful and juicy steak. Just wow 10/10

Churros: omg…. Just omg. Melt in your mouth churros, most DELECTABLE Mexican dark chocolate to dip them in… I dream about these 10/10

This is now our go-to Mexican spot. Such an elevated take on our traditional Mexican food outings. Prices were very fair especially for the quality and ambiance of this places picking up a to-go order as we speak.

It’s worth noting that we went with our friend who was born in Mexico City and has had the best of the best Oaxacan food and she was floored by this place!“

“I went to Box Chicken for the first time today and picked up 2 box meals and an extra box of chicken tenders. I got a mix of original, hot and spicy tenders along with white rice, green beans, house pickles, potato salad and Japanese rice. Everything was delicious! Lol I almost ate the box too ?. “I love that the food here is clean and perfectly healthy for my body and soul. That being said, it's more expensive than other places and I don't mind as long as I get what I'm paying for. The last time I ordered the teriyaki bowl (my favorite), the broccoli was so overcooked it'd fall apart before I got a chance to put it in my mouth. Another time the brown rice in the teriyaki bowl was so undercooked it hurt to bite on it. It's only been a couple of disappointments so far. “I've always seen a line in front of this place but at 9:30 am on a weekday we were able to get seated immediately. We had the key lime pie and the onion omelette sandwich and the chorizo omelette sandwich.

The egg sandwiches were almost crispy on the outside and running and silky on the inside if you prefer your eggs cooked that way. The key lime pie had a bold lemony flavor and everything was well presented and appetizing looking. One of the egg sandwiches was presented wet which was a little disappointing.

Parking: Parking could be hard to find especially on the busy/sunset/every hour. There are several public parking lots around and the 15 minutes meter for pick up right in front of the cafe.“

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. “Health Nut is always a must when I am in southern california. I love the Santa Monica location, the restaurant is always clean, the employees are friendly and the food comes out quick. The tuna panini with a side of tomato bisque is my go to order, with the noodlerama as a close second. The sandwich is delicious every time, my only note is that the tomato soup could be a little less oily and more creamy. Overall a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat, either dine in (nice outdoor patio) or to-go.

Wonderful service and unbelievably great music. We do wish for two things though. We love traditional full-bodied reds by the glass. They are hard to come by. “Freshly made food, several flavors to choose from, the chicken is nice and crispy, never greasy and definitely white meat! Downside is just that since it is not precooked it does take a while to wait for your meal, and the atmosphere is that of fast food with uncomfortable seats, loud music, and voices carry very well making this a very loud environment and difficult to visit with friends or family while eating in. They do have a patio you could take advantage of but it's right next to PCH and a busy side street.
I do like the option of ordering at the kiosk, I don't like that it still asks for you to leave a tip even though you pick your own food up at the counter and clean up after yourself. Otherwise, in the future I will be ordering ahead and just picking up and eating at home or on the beach!“
