“We enjoyed our first time at Little Victory. The food was excellent, the seasonal Pasta (summer squash, blistered tomatos) was absolutely unreal, one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. The basque cheesecake was delicious as well!

As a first timer, I think the restauraunt would benefit from a small sign outside directing guests to the correct area inside to check in for a reservation. It felt like we were intruding because we didn’t know where to go and to be wandering around getting passed off from server to bartender to someone else to try and find a host to check in with wasn’t a great first impression. However, once we got sat, the staff were truly friendly. Our server was able to give us helpful guidance on the wine list and we liked the wine we chose.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the space is well decorated, but we did notice as it got more crowded later in the evening it became increasingly louder inside, which made it challenging to hold a conversation. Maybe some aesthetic looking sound absorbers would help!

Overall, a lovely little spot tucked off in a quiet street of Carlsbad. Definitley worth a visit if you enjoy a good Southern California wine bar vibe.“

“After driving by for a year I finally peeked my head in and checked it out, it wasn't what I expected at all..... it's a really cool place, seems like a great hang and very cool music, and a good upscale but subtle bar. “Great spot to come try some unique beer from craft breweries. They had a great selection of beer from around San Diego County and several other great selections beyond that. You can not beat this place if you are a fan of trying a little bit of a lot of things. You can grab single cans of rare beers. It's awesome. There is a bar area, indoor, and outdoor seating available. There is a nice patio out back. If you want food, they have several snack items and an attached restaurant in the same space.“

“Came here for a Latin night with friends loved the music and the food came out quickly. The music was way too loud but it was still fun and we stood towards the back of the place.

Never been here before this, it would be nice to try coming here on a normal day to hangout with friends and have a few drinks with food.“

“From the first course to the last our server was extremely attentive and helped us navigate the menu. We had the 8 course tasting menu and honestly, I couldn’t find a single dish to say anything but amazing things about. After dinner we got a brief tour of the private dining area and back of house, shook hands with the executive chef and got to thank him for helping curate such a special birthday dinner for my partner and myself. It truly was a journey through coastal Mexico with every bite and the staff was incredibly kind. If you have an opportunity to experience this place, you should absolutely book the reservation! The chef’s and staff here earned their star for great reason!“

“Me and my family visited this place after a day in the LEGOLAND on a Saturday.
It was not crowded at all.
The services are very polite and attentive.
We ordered 2 scallops for appetizers, a soup, and deer steak. My daughter loved the scallop a lot.

Mint ice cream with chocolate source for dessert. It was not too sweet. We liked it.“

“Visited for a special event dinner with Epoch winery from Paso Robles. The owner of the store was exceedingly gracious and friendly and the event was a great success. The store has a pretty wide range of wine offerings as well as local craft beers, with several exclusive/harder to get wines as well as more mainstream options. The store is admittedly "Paso-centric" in their overall portfolio, but the prices are consistent with what you would see at the wineries. They also have cheeses for sale at the front counter.“

“Bartender made my friend Cade his first ever martini. He said it was alright and deeply disappointed our friend Sean who had very high hopes. Sean, a martini expert, said it was very good, so 5-stars. Also, the lovely bartender was very patient with us.“

Husband got the surf and turf which came with a generous portion of filet a lobster four or five shrimp and veggies. I got the appetizer shrimp barsac, which I didn't like and sent it back because it was not peeled properly so I just ate off my husband's plate and it was really good“

“Great bar for n the pool area. Went for the music in the afternoon which was twice a week. Not sure about the exact dates or times so ask. We went to the owners reception where we had free wine and cheese and salami snacks. It was a little chilly but they had fire pits to warm you up.“

Our server Kay knows the menu and had great recommendations. Capellini alla checca was outstanding. Added blackened chicken and made the dish even better.
The Arden pizza was like a steak dinner on pizza. Outstanding!!
Definitely be putting this place on the recall roster.
