“They catered an event I went to and it was incredible. The food was delicious, especially the chapli kebab and what I think was a habanero chutney thing that was super spicy. Somehow, the service was even better than the food. I can’t wait to go in and eat this food again“
“A gem of a place. This place was recommended to me by a friend so I visited the place with high expectations. And they didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent 10/10. We ordered the tikka kabob, chopan kabab, bolani and afghan burger. They were all tasty. The kebabs were juicy and tender. The owners and waiters were the nicest people I have met specially Haroon Jan. Adding it to list of my favorite places to eat at.“
“Tonight I ordered (via Grub Hub) Buranee Kudu Pumkin, Mantoo, Baklava, and Firnee. Instead of the Buranee Kudu Pumpkin I received the Bolanee Kadu Pumpkin. I can completely see how this mistake happened. I can't even complain. The Bolanee was super tasty. This may have been the best wrong order I have ever tasted. Apparently tonight I was meant to try an appetizer that I might not have tried otherwise. Next time I order from here I will try the Buranee but for tonight I will enjoy my wrong order. Also to top off everything else...my main course, the Mantoo, was even better than my lucky appetizer. I can't wait to try the desserts.“
“Decided to venture out and try some Afghani food tonight. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the kabab plate and the lady helping me recommended I try the Chaplee - looks like a fried meat loaf slice and had all sorts of spices I wasn’t expecting. It was a full-on flavor party in my mouth and all the spice girls were invited. I recommend it.“
“Nice little shop with Mediterranean goods. We wanted to order an early dinner. Wanted to try the Bolani Kado but they make it per order fresh. Would take 40 minutes so we passed. Wished we had more time. We ate lamb kebabs plate and Tekka Kebabs plate. Oh man they were good. We ate outside in our vehicle because they got rid of the inside seating due to pandemic times. Food is worthy give it a try. We left the shop with some freshly baked flatbread ( yum) Spicy chickpeas, canned pickles, their version of peanut brittle and smiles on our faces. The clerk was pleasantly welcoming and very talkative. I we are in the area again we would definitely stop by.“
“Great tasting food cooked fresh with quality ingredients.Restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall with a few other restaurants and an Indian grocery store, so kinda hard to find it unless you know in advance. They give you a bowl of salad and some fresh delicious Afghan bread (served with cilantro sauce and tzatziki sauce)While the food is tasty and fresh, the prices are a bit high compared to the prices. For example, the combination platter with a large Chapli kabab and 4 pieces of chicken kabab with a little bit of rice was $28.The daily special was the Kofta Chalk which was 3 beef meatballs in a sauce with some rice was quite delicious and $18.The 2 pieces of baklava were delicious and warm and was $8.$103 for 3 dishes and baklava seemed a bit on the high side.Friendly people though the young lady serving us was a bit difficult to communicate with as she didn’t seem to comprehend English completely.Worth a return visit.“
“This is my favorite kabob in Fremont which is the original location. I decided to give the Walnut Creek location a try and found it to be better than the Fremont location which I thought was impossible. Great food and great service. I ordered the triple combo. AMAZING!!!!! The mantu was very very tasty as well. I will definitely be back“
