Price was a bit steep for what little amounts I wanted. The salsa, while delicious and spicy which i still loved, was very ketchup-e. The guacamole was delicious and the best part of everything I got. It's worth going back to on occasion.“

“Solid spot! After working all night and wanting a breakfast burrito while working out of town and staying in Turlock. I found this spot. Ordered a Machaca burrito and an Al Pastor tacosl. Burrito was big and very tasty. The $5 Al Pastor tacos was delicious and the meat was browned up perfectly on the flat top. I wouldn't hesitate to come back just for the tacos next time. The salsa's I tried were ok and a little different than most other taco spots. The chunky hot salsa was the best of the three I tried.“

“This was by far them most delicious authentic Mexican food we have eaten this side of the border. The love and compassion that is put into the food served here is beyond excellent. As you walk in, you will immediately feel the transformation of old Mexico with its rustic beamed ceilings and mosaic hand painted tile floors. The atmosphere speaks for itself. “Even if I didn't live right down the street, I would still drive the way across town for this place. Not only are the tacos that I get extremely flavorful and juicy, the salsa is the PERFECT level of spice. The employees are incredibly sweet, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. Here almost every day getting my tacos. I cant recommend it enough. Thank you!!!!!!“

Very authentic, at least from what I remember as a child in Mexico, watching and tasting the yummy pork softly boiling in a cauldron of lard. ☺️ Fresh tender sheets of cueritos come out first, then the buche, and finally the carnitas! THIS place is JUST like that- in taste -and I love it!! Service is super. The couple that owns it is very friendly. They answered all our questions (husband is on a strict diet; minding his macros n’ all) and made suggestions on menu items. Everything we’ve ordered has been amazing. “Our first visit at Mariachis did not disappoint us at all, rather it exceeded our expectations. As soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff, and we were given a huge basket of fresh tortilla chips with two dishes of homemade salsa while we figured out our orders. We ordered a classic margarita and two tacos. The tacos had a lot of flavor and they were huge. The margarita tasted fresh, and was balanced perfectly. Plus Mariachis has a great atmosphere that every Mexican restaurant should model after. We will definitely come back, and recommend Mariachis to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in Turlock.“

I was just passing through town on a long drive and randomly stopped in for a quick bite, only to be served up the best Buritto I've ever had. It slapped.

“Okay, we were driving by Oakdale, and see a 4.6 star joint with over 400 reviews. It must be legit. We had to stop by. Initially we weren't too excited that it was Latin food, not because we don't like it but after a long drive none of us were in the mood for taking risks.

Other than the guac not being absolutely fresh (still fresh though), the food turned out to be awesome, given the location and price point. The fish taco with battered cod was perhaps one of the best I've had. It almost came out like a Mexican salad with plenty of onions, lettuce on a bed of rice. But lifted with tortillas, it was again fascinating. The steak was juicy but you shouldn't expect steakhouse steak here. And the pasta was also solid for the kids.

Also, the gentleman who served us was super friendly. We initally felt like we were being stood up but once he found us, everything was wonderful.

Oakdale is a city/town you drive by a lot on your way to Yosemite. And when doing so, I highly recommend stopping by at Cafe Bravo. You'd be pleasantly surprised at the caliber of Latin comfort food they serve.“

This employee redefines 'fast food service. Her above-and-beyond attentiveness made me feel like a valued guest, which is a rare and wonderful experience. So much can be said about how awesome she makes ppl feel. Keep up the good work . That is why the Golden State Taco Bell is my preferred location, even though it's across town.“
