“I love that one of the side effects of Covid was the explosion of street food! Tacos. Pupusas. Jerk chicken. Shwarma. Seems like there's no end to the new street food options in LA. It was aggravating that this explosion in tasty food happened just as my income tanked. But I treated myself last night and enjoyed a night "out". The al pastor was definitely the star of the show here. The carne asada was fine but I wish there had been more outdoor grill, charcoal-y kind o' flavor. Chorizo was also fine but a bit dry. Service was wonderfully friendly, various employees fluent in English and Spanish. Grilled onions, plenty of salsas, radishes, cucumbers, aguas frescas. They've been here for eight months. Had some trouble with their original location in front of Vallarta. I guess Vallarta got fussy about them being a foot or two on to their lot so they moved corners. Now they're near the Grocery Outlet and their new neighbors love 'em. The managers even come out sometimes for a few tacos themselves. If I get my wish Covid restrictions will immediately end, the street food scene won't move an inch and my income will return to the place where I can enjoy all the delicious options that so often I pass over.“

“We liked it a lot! I went with my family, and all the dishes we ordered were very well served and delicious. We ordered birria, a fish fillet, some tacos, chicken fajitas and Menudo. Excellent service and the place is very cozy.I highly recommend this place!!“

“Popular late night taco truck known for al pastor. These tacos are street size so 4-5 are needed for a meal. Cash and credit cards are accepted. I got the carne asada and the al pastor. There were four different salsas and the spicy guacamole one is the best in my opinion. Free parking available that’s shared with the car wash. There’s an outdoor seating area that’s relatively clean. They speak both English and Spanish.“

“First time here since they first opened two years ago. Fast service! Have an “A” rating in the window. Very clean! Many menu items. Italian to Mexican! Customers coming in while we waited for our order seemed to all be on a first name basis with a small community feel. Lots of fist bumping going on! Lol Seemed everybody knew each other by their first names. The chicken burrito that we split was good. A customer who was already there eating her lunch when we arrived, got up and went out of her way to let the owner know that she really enjoyed her fish tacos ??. She said they were excellent! So may have to give those a try next time! Great place for a quick bite! Catering seems to be offered.“

“I just stopped by today and had a great experience here. I got carnitas and al pastor street tacos and they were unbelievable. Such great flavors in the meat. Also the green and red salsa were very complimentary (red salsa is smoky spicy yum). Got the asada quesadilla for the kids (of course I had a bite) and was really pleased with the asada flavor too! Even the sour cream is great, homemade you can tell. The attention to quality is apparent!I am super glad because the first few times I was not impressed. Maybe I got the wrong things, and it seemed expensive, but everything was great at the service was great as well! It was only $20 and was enough food for 3 adults. Saw they have really good $12 lunch deals now too. Can't wait to come back!!“

“This is the go to taco spot. I been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. I tried their Carne asada tacos, asada quesadillas and asada burrito. The way they season the Carne asada is delicious and the red sauce that they give is the perfect combination. They now accept credit card but they charge a small fee if you use that. You can still pay cash or zelle if you don't want to use your credit card. The staff are very friendly and the guy working as the cashier is awesome. My wife also loves their food as well.Parking: They are on Balboa and Nordhoff, more toward the back of Burger kings so there parking spots there.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly but they are near the main street of Nordhoff so just keep an eye on them.“

“Hands down best burrito(American style) in the valley. The soup is a hidden gem as well, I would say it is one of the best things on the menu, no matter what you get atleast get it on the side. Owner is also very nice, polite and professional to everyone. This place is small but he made sure that everyone was taken care of personally and had everything they needed and keeps the place running on a tight ship. Worth a try no matter what.“

“Best birria food truck around here. The queso birria tacos is so bomb- the tortilla is warmly coated in the spicy broth and oozing with cheese. They give you plenty of limes. roasted peppers and their HOMEMADE SALSA OMG i love it. End it with their horchata and it's the best. Cash, Credit card is accepted.:)“

“There aren't many plant-based options. Their grilled zucchini is very good, and I highly recommend it! My family loves the fish tacos and pasta! I don't recommend the clam chowder. Overall, good food, but I wish there were more plant-based options!“

“Birria Del Valle is my go to birria spot in The San Fernando Valley. I would go as far to say it's the best of all LA county. I've had thier mulittas, quesabirria and had for the first time today thier Birria Noodles in which all have been outstanding in taste, filling and freshness. It's a must try no doubt & mock my words when I say you will keep coming back. If I could rate it's overall quality, it's beyond a five star rating.“

“Ive been ordering this on door dash and had no idea it was a taco truck. Next time I'm driving by I will definitely stop by. This is value at its finest, everything is delicious and reasonably priced. I'm an asada burrito guy and this one definitely meets the mark. My gf got the bean and cheese burrito which is HUGE and sooo delicious, so much flavor. I would put el taco llamas asada burritos slightly above these but you can't beat the price, definitely 5 stars.“

“This is my go-to taco spot in the valley! Parking isn't that great considering that it is at a park, but it's not horrible. The tacos itself is what gets me going back and the customer service is good. They have a lot of options and the price is affordable as well.“

“The pozole here is incredible according to my family and they love the unique taste and love coming here. I personally got the lengua burrito and I’m going to be honest here it was alright. The waitress was really helpful at making things right whenever we had a problem with our food but also making sure we were enjoying it. Very friendly staff. The inside seating is a little cramped if you come in with five plus people.Parking: The parking for this place is very cramped and holds about 7 cars without it being maxed out.Kid-friendliness: Super friendly to kids. My little sister didn’t like the burrito and the waitress speaker to her in a kind way asking what she can do to make it right.“

“I'm taking back my 5 stars and giving it 1 star, Disappointed on the second run, the meat was dry and the guacamole was water and no taste the and the chips were old all this 44 dollars and the owner would refund half for the discusting was taseless guacamole.“

“Gave 4 Stars although I would give my order closer to a 3.5/3.7. I ordered one of my favorite combos, Grilled Delta Catfish Cajun flavor well done with regular fries and the Roasted Street Corn. The only knock is, the portion of the Roasted Street Corn was smaller than expected.“

“They always hold us down. After a lit night, when we want something cheap, or just when I'm fixing for tacos. Best I've had in the valley and better than anything I've had in Ventura county too. Shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, pastor tacos, and those damn birria tacos . And I love the onion that comes with it. Just beware of the hot salsa, if you get everything included on your food - it will be spicy.The only thing that wasn't the best was the birria burrito, and damn that was kinda good too! But I'd probably try something else next time I want a burrito or get consomé with it. It was a little dry without it.“

“Food is awesome! This was my first time here, ordered the 3 taco combo with asada, chicken and pastor tacos. Tacos were delicious! The rice and beans usually lack flavor at other taco shops like this, but these rice and beans are very flavorful! Love this place! Will definitely go back to try different things. “Very good! The service was friendly and great--very helpful in helping us decide what to order. The goat taco was surprisingly good! Enjoyed the shredded beef empanada, which was huge and topped with avocado and lettuce. We ordered the horchata- which was yummy. They gave it to us while we waited for the food (it was a hot day), and then topped it off for us when the food came! They do have small chairs to sit on and plenty of shade. Highly recommend--we will go back.“

“Decided to stop by & try this spot since we were in the area. We arrived at a good time luckily there was parking available right in front of the shop which is located in a small plaza. They have varies of food options, we decided to go with the California burrito which has birria and fries inside. The burrito is rather good. (Next time I hope to try their birria ramen) We ordered a strawberry agua fresca with the rim it was good my bf liked it soo much he wanted to buy the rim itself. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again.“

“Thanks to Ruben and his wife our party was a huge success! I picked Dos Tacos because I really liked the presentation of the cute serving dishes and the food looked delicious. It's a family business and keeping the business in Simi Valley was important to me. All the food was fresh, flavorful and prepared with care. I had a baby shower in the backyard and wanted something special and fun! Ruben and his wife showed up a little early. Set up everything without any issues and after an hour of cooking and preparing the feast, we were all ready to eat. Everyone was so happy and there was plenty to eat.. even grilled veggies for my vegan friends! I highly recommend using Dos Tacos Y Tu!“

“First time here after 100 drive bysFood: Quesataco x 2 it was delicious but very pricey at $4.00 ea. Not alotof asada on the tacos but they were delicious. Just wish I could have afforded 2 more. 16 Oz coke $2.50. I wish they could compete $$$ with my usual sit down taco joint and I'd make this my new taco place. I was told $2.50 ea but the tacos I ordered were on the bigger tortilla. I'll probably go there again but nit ad much as I'd like bc of the cost. Nice people and it's made fresh.“

“Good Mexican food, the cabeza was delicious. The burrito and tacos had a generous amount of meat. No prices were listed, one burrito, two tacos, and a large Jamaica were just under $20. A good flow of patrons came through as we waited for our food, it took about 15 minutes.“

“I love Adriana's business. Her food is so good and she has an amazing energy and presence in the canyon. I moved here two years ago and during my first week I went to her taco pop up business twice. Now I'm a regular. Her taco medicine is an important part of the Topanga community.“

“I'm the last person to be writing reviews, but what can I say when the service and food has been amazing, it's a must... First of all the food is fresh. Dining inside its always looking clean and neat, but what really has me astonished is the staff. I'm super bad with names but the guy Manager with the slick back hair, (usually there in the afternoons) very down to earth, always attentive, and one time I realized I lost my wallet and he even offered to pay for my food out of his own pocket.. him and along with Ms. Campos another amazing employee, super attentive, she has everything under control, such a lovely woman I love how they have treated me with respect and am grateful for their Amazing service!“

“Went to Kluckin Chicken and was greeted by a nice young man named Arthur. Asked him for his recommendation and it was the Chicken Quesadilla and boy was he on the money. I am not a big fan of different cheeses in my food but this was probably one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Make sure that you eat it with the sauce that it comes with. My son decided to stick with his normal order of getting chicken tenders. At first I thought the prices here were absolutely ridiculous after paying $43 for two people but when you get your order and see how much food you get.This is like getting lunch and dinner for most people so the value for what you get made it easier to swallow the bill .Fries were OK and could have used a little bit more seasoning but once you dip them in the sauce it makes it all better.“

“Perfect little sidewalk spot for that late night craving. They're so friendly and welcoming and portions are big. I wish they'd have a veggie or shrimp option and the salsas aren't as spicy as I prefer, but that's about the only con!“

“This truck is so successful that they don’t even need a google profile, but I am super happy to be helping add to it because this place deserves thousands of reviews. I only know one other truck that appears to get close to as much business every single day they are open, but there are never as many people happily in line anywhere else. This is the type of truck that has multiple families eating in the parking lot and a line waiting for most of the night. Make sure you bring cash because this is a CASH ONLY business and if you come during the dinner rush, prepare to wait a little bit in line. I promise it’s worth it!For 4 years now I’ve been going to this truck and the amount of excitement that I have every single time is unreasonable. It’s kinda like the feeling you get when you are going over to a friend’s house and you know they are making a family recipe that you can only get from them! I could have gone every night if I wanted to, but I truly saved this spot for special occasions, showing friends a new spot, long days, and/or when I needed my ultimate comfort food.They really stack every taco, burrito, and quesadilla with whatever you like. I got my usual on the night of my photos: A quesadilla with carne asada, a little al pastor, and (if they have it) pineapple. Probably not traditional, but my untraditional pallet has never let me down! You have all the standard toppings at the end to stack on top to you own liking. The onion and jalapeno blend is rather spicy, so be careful if you aren’t used to it! The green avocado sauce at the end is my favorite for flavor without spice (I wish I knew the name of it.. Is it Avocado Tomatillo salsa?? I’m probably wrong…). Anyways.. I like to use that sauce heavily for the flavor and the onion and jalapeno mix lightly for the spice, but there are plenty of spicy sauce options if that is what you are looking for. If you stop by later in the night they might not have any more cheese, but if they do have cheese you can ask for it melted on the inside of the tortilla for your burrito for $1 extra!I wish I could say I tried more of their options, because they all look amazing every time, but I’m a creature of habit and I’ve only had their asada and pastor in tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. But everyone I see ordering gets one of those so I think it’s pretty unanimously the three most popular options with whatever meat you prefer.I can’t explain how much this spot gets my highest recommendations for street comfort food! “I'm in LA for the next few weeks and I've made it my goal to try as many tacos as I can. Stop number 1 was Tacos DeSoto. It was super easy to find right on the road and there was street parking. they make the tacos as you order them and I had a short wait. The customer service was outstanding. The owners are super nice and welcoming. They do take cash and card. I ordered chorizo and steak mix tacos with spicy sauce and cilantro, onion toppings. They were $3/taco and I paid $9 total. They also have drinks on site and a small seating area out front. The tacos were cooked perfectly the perfect size and they were delicious. The steak was extremely tender and it wasn't super oily so the taco stayed together while I was eating it. This is a great place to stop for a quick grab and go lunch.“

“Delicious taco stand with meat being grilled in front of you. Service is super fast. They even sell tripas which is my favorite topping. Their al pastor is grilled on a stick and cut in front as well. The staff don't speak English well so be prepared to order in Spanish. It's about $3 per tacos. I had some tacos with cheese so those a little more pricey. I will definitely come back.“
