Sad to see this authentic Japanese restaurant close down. I hope it’s a temporary and not a permanent close.
This restaurant has three Japanese chefs for sushi, izakaya, and cooked dishes.
Although they are specialized in tuna because they also distribute tuna imported from Japan, all their other dishes are well prepared. They have daily sashimi/sushi options based on fresh seafood deliveries from Japan.

This place blew my mind. I was looking for a place to eat before a show at Largo. Their fish is from Japan and super fresh. Best tuna I ever had. The staff made us feel like home. And it’s affordable for the quality of the food you will get. We will definitely come back!

Guests love the presentation and the authentic atmosphere. The restaurant also offers unique dishes like creamy homemade tofu and yamaimo with mentaiko. The desserts, such as shaved ice cream, are really good too. Soma Suisan is a small family business with a calm and homey atmosphere, making it a must-visit for Japanese food lovers. The restaurant's special design, including beautiful plates and decoration, adds to the overall experience. Guests highly recommend Soma Suisan and can't wait to come back for more.
