Original post:We have been loyal customers for over 6 months now and very much appreciate having a halal food option open late. However recently things have changed at Capitol Gyros.

The employee frequently says they are out of things when he is too lazy to either cook or clean. He will say they’re out of fries 30 mins before closing, or most recently, said they close at 11:45 now. If that’s is the case they should update their hours to reflect that instead of wasting customers time. The unpredictability of the menu items and operating hours make dining here extremely frustrating.

We love this place and it is a shame to see it go so far downhill because of an employees laziness. When the usual employee works we do not have this issue. It is the new employee that they have that has been causing issues and the business to lose money. The new employee also makes the food poorly, often dripping in grease.“

“First time here and I was greeted very warmly and the Young Spanish looking male broke down how ordering works. I told him it was my first time at Mod Pizza, he was welcoming and very kind. I appreciated the small talk when I asked him what he likes to get, i got the spicy tomato base with the garlic rub. He was super kind and accommodating to my meal. He asked if I wanted sides like ranch, any drizzle on the pizza, and if I wanted any oregano spices on my pizza, etc. I mean, he didnt miss a beat. He was very kind and I appreciate the amazing service. I wish I could have gotten his name. I would like to shout him out here. But I came on a Tues, March 3rd. He was super accommodating and made sure everything was right with my order. Honestly, I’d come back just because of the customer service he gave. Give him a raise, he deserves it!“

“If they can return to the days of getting six chicken strips that were at least the length of a true chicken breast as opposed to now getting then the size of jumbo shrimp and half of that is the breading. Now 4 strips cost more than 6 did plus they are half the size. I’m still a fan just have to control my spending“
