“I went to tipsy putt for the first time last week to attend drag bingo for my birthday. Bingo was fun! Arrive early to get seats and get your bingo cards from the bar. When you walk in, you have no idea where to go for bingo. Once you do get to the seats where it's at, it's still a little confusing. I just sat down, not knowing you're supposed to walk up to the bar to get your cards ($5 for 10 cards). You also order food/drinks at the bar.My friends ordered nachos. They were good. Chip to topping ratio was off though. The place looks fun with other various games to play.I will be back for bingo tho. I really enjoyed the host."Oohhhh yyyeeeaaahhhh"“

“I've been wanting to check this place out for a long time & finally had a work breakfast here. I love the building and it's older look and feel. I'm it server (I can't remember her name) was so sweet and checked on us just enough where it wasn't overbearing. I had the Benedict Arnold with half bacon and half corned beef. It was very good! I think my favorite part was probably the Welsh rarebit cheese sauce. Would definitely come again to check out lunch or dinner!“

“Decided to check out this brewery with my family, who was here visiting from Colorado! We needed a dog friendly location, and we've been wanting to pay a visit here, so we entered into the super cool vibe here! I really enjoyed the Ube Pilsner German beer! Ordered a BLTA and a cheeseburger, both with fries! Very good, very fresh and very delicious! I'm getting that cheeseburger next time!!! It was such a beautiful day today to be outside, enjoying good company with a cold brew and tasty bites. What a great time and all the staff are super friendly and nice.“

“Many wonderful things happen at this tap and kitchen. First, the food is made in house and don't forget to check on the chef specials. Second, the service is great. The two bartenders/servers were friendly, kind, and full of knowledge (I'm not a beer drinker (my husband is), but they helped me find something that was to my liking). Lastly, the ambiance is nice welcoming and there's a decent amount of seating. This is a must try spot if you're in the area.“

“Mike went above and beyond to make my first experience memorable. He made sure the bathroom was fully stocked after someone left the key in there. He was very patient and kind even though he was dealing with us on a bar crawl. His espresso martini's were very delicious, I usually like mine more creamy but his had a more chocolatey taste that you didn't need the cream! Thank you so much for your friendly attentive service!!“

“This place is a neighborhood gem! Kid- and dog-friendly, always a great vibe, and awesome special events throughout the year. Honestly, the only things that would make this place better is a full kitchen and more non-alcoholic options. We'd be there multiple times a week if that was the case but still an absolute 5 star establishment and essentially the social center of the Tahoe Park neighborhood.“

“This is a perfect, casual place for beer nerds and in my opinion, one of the top 3 best burgers in Sac….in fact it may be the best. Located in a quaint neighborhood corne, they have likely the largest and widest variety selection of foreign and domestic beers in town both on tap and in bottle and even a bottle room where you can buy hard-to-find offerings in large format. Everything they do here is done well.“

“Burger was delicious, but the steak fries needed some work. Beer was cold and reasonably priced, but the bartender had a wee attitude. Loved the reggae night DJ, especially the opening guy! The outside patio is where it's at. The bouncers were also very good.I would definitely go back!“

Buck's Fizz Rest & Tap Sports Bar • $
650 Fulton Ave, Sacramento - 6.93 miles

“First off, this is an amazing place. A gem indeed. This is actual cooking, a singular enterprise by one owner, and that certainly deserves respect in a town whose food scene is being regularly bought out by investors that treat their businesses as just that, an investment, and not an addition to the neighborhood & culture. Yes, it is a small place, and in a nook which really only immediate locals usually end up at, easy to miss. But also simply perfect when you'd like to feel less-than-bombarded in a town with half a million people where much of the homey-ness is missing. It has a familiar ambiance that also feels well-traveled, with a nautical feel. The service is on point! The owner is super friendly & generous. It is never awkward to pick up to go here. My only alternative input would be to get more sustainable containers for to-go purposes. Enough about the place, more about the food, which is a welcome and unique style in the Sacramento Greek food scenery. The options are simple, ample, and easily suited to different dietary needs & preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, no cheese for vegan). The go-to for my friends is the Lamb Gyro, which is truly deserving of the term Gigantic. The proportions of filling are not finely cut or chopped, adding to the hugeness of the gyro, which is more like an entire pita bread with at least 1-2 cucumbers and a huge portion of perfectly marinated protein. Being vegan, I enjoyed the dolmathes, hummus, beans, & of course the massive pillowy pita bread, which is insanely better than the kind I've found at the store, it's super fresh. Definately if you're in the area & passing by, try it out. Just check the hours first!“

“I've been here before and it was really good. This time, I had the breakfast egg sandwich in a croissant. The croissant was hard. I'll have to go back and give them another try. Maybe it was a bad day for croissants. I'll try it again, tho. First time I was there i had a fig Danish. And it was amazing. All these other Danish look amazing. The coffee I had was also really good.“

“Came here for Emo Night. At first (8p) there was maybe 25 people. At about 1030, there was probably 100. It was a blast! I've been to other emo nights and this one was fun even tho there wasn't a live band this time. Drinks weren't as bad as other reviews say. Customer service was cool. There were 2 really clean single person bathrooms. There's a liquor store maybe 200 ft if u need anything. There were lasers, fog, and passionate people. Music was loud. My heart rate was high. But even more, my emo thirst was quenched.“
