“Went to a celebration of life and food is not normally to this quality. It was so good and well presented. I had to ask where it came from. When they told me it was prepped by love, I remembered them from another event that I had the same reaction with different food offering. No matter what they make, it taste and looks great. “I really wanted to come here and give a 5star review. Tried this place today at opening for the first time and food was everything that I thought it would be. Amazing soul food and have been looking for a good soul food spot. Greens were so good that we had to double back later in the day. Second time around there was a heavier set lady on the register at around 430 that was very impatient. I ordered the food as she was letting it be known to me and other 1st time customers that we were taking too long figuring out the menu or “confusing her” although she should be able to help guide how to order. After ordering while I was paying on the tablet she was yelling “name” over and over louder as I didn’t realize she was speaking to me. Instead of saying excuse me or just a “sir” to get my attention as I teach my 3year old. Just continued to yell louder in my face as if it isn’t loud enough in the restaurant. Then once I gave my name looked me dead in the face rolled her eyes and shook her head. As I heard her do the same to the customers behind me. As a GM at a successful restaurant I will say the food was great but that service is the kind to kill a business fast. Everyone else was great the owner is super hands on and interactive.“

She was so communicative, responsive, and really took the time to understand who we are as a couple - making sure the menu reflected that perfectly. The food not only tasted amazing, but felt so us.
Our guests are still raving about the hamachi crudo from cocktail hour (so fresh and flavorful!) and the pasta station was such a fun, interactive touch. The cocktails were also no joke - strong and well-balanced, just the way we like them.

She was a rockstar in helping us plan our menu, was very flexible and understanding, and always answered our questions through phone or email with a quick turn around. We ordered the BBQ brisket, Chicken Marsala, and Poached Salmon as our main entrees and they were all amazing! I would highly recommend all three options. “My wedding at The Turnip Rose Promenade in Costa Mesa was an absolute dream! From start to finish, everything was seamless. No stress, just pure love, family, and an effortless, all-inclusive experience.
First and foremost, Barbi R. was a godsend. From day one, she was accommodating, gracious, and truly dedicated to making our big day as perfect as possible. She went out of her way at every turn to ensure my husband and I were completely satisfied. A true testament to her dedication: on the day of our wedding, we lost the adapter for our lighted sign. I had accepted that it would stay unlit, but Barbi didn’t! Without hesitation and without even being asked, she drove to the nearest hardware store and bought a replacement. Who does that?! She is genuinely one of the most caring and detail-oriented people I’ve ever met, and I am beyond grateful for her.
Another shout-out to Aubrey, the day-of coordinator provided by Turnip Rose. She was tiny but mighty! Even with my (very) energetic family, she kept everything running smoothly and made sure every detail was in place. We did the Platinum wedding package and we felt the benefits matched the value.
Now, let’s talk about the food, because it was a showstopper! Every single bite, from the appetizers to the final course, was high-class, high-quality, and exceptional. My family is incredibly picky, yet we received endless compliments for months about how amazing the food was! We chose the Classic Chicken Wellington & Petite Filet Mignon duet, and it was beyond perfect. The appetizers were just as impressive. The way everything was presented, white-gloved service silver dome and all, added an extra touch of elegance. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having a second wedding (same husband!) just to relive that dining experience!
The venue itself is stunning! Romantic, private, and perfectly designed to flow from ceremony to reception without a hitch. The bride and groom suites were comfortable and well-appointed. Bonus, the wedding party was greeted with chilled wine. The outdoor space for the ceremony was beautiful, and the cocktail hour area had the perfect ambiance. Plus, there’s even a vineyard across the way for breathtaking photos. During our wedding we also experienced an amazing Golden hour glow that was extremely beautiful to witness. I appreciated that they offered so many all inclusive amenities. Everything on the table spread, excluding the flowers, were included! Plus a variety of options to personalize the space to your liking.
At the end of the night, Barbi and Aubrey were there with big hugs and parting gifts, a gesture that made us feel even more special. The night was pure magic and a perfect experience.
I guarantee you won’t regret choosing The Turnip Rose Promenade for your wedding. And the best part? They have a public café, so you can return anytime and relive the magic through their exquisite food. We’re making it tradition to go for lunch every year. Absolute game-changer.

“My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! “I ordered my vegan birthday cake one week ahead of the date needed, and the cake was ready on time for pick up. This vegan baker is an artist, and working with her to design the cake was very easy, I let her lead the process and the cake was incredibly beautiful.
I don’t think I could have gotten a more beautiful cake even in Los Angeles City.
The cake was delicious, moist, flavorful and a decadent treat. The pickup was quick, and packed to perfection including a no slide patch in side the box so the decorations were not damaged in transport. Decor, a candle, matches, and a cutting knife were all included. The whole process was top notch professional. The attention to detail and presentation showed this bakers passion for her work. I feel that the price was 100% worth it, and competitive for the going rate. The party was awed by the cake, so money well spent. I will definitely be ordering again! Too bad I didn’t get a photo before we cut the cake!
I almost forgot to mention that when the cake was served, the room fell silent because everyone was taken away with how yummy the cake was.“

“Ordered a grazing box for Christmas and it was perfect!! Everyone loved it. It looked beautiful and tasted good. It came with 4 different kinds of fresh cheeses, plenty of crackers and a delicious hummus, veggies and fresh fruits.Picking it up was interesting they work out of a community huge kitchen so it's a bunch of shops, you call them when you arrive and they bring it to your car. “My first time here and the owner was welcoming and friendly. I ordered a pan fried seafood egg noodles party tray and it was amazingly delicious. The flavor was on point and egg noodles had a nice al dente chewy texture with wok hei taste. I also ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls and they were crispy and flavorful as well.
