“AMAZING Mediteranean food!! If we lived near here, we would dine at Georgie's often! The steak and chicken kebab as well as the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked! As a delicious accent our family feasted on tasty rice, Mediterranean salad, cucumber yogurt salad, and grape leaf rolls. To top off a wonderful meal, we ordered their walnut baklava...WOW! The staff were kind and patient, very friendly. Don't miss out on this restaurant!“

“The food is delicious and the restaurant is simple and nice. Service is good.
They also offer a buffet for Iftar on weekdays during the holy month of Ramadan. However, we reached late on that day and hence will be going there again to try the buffet.

Vegetarian options: The appetizers have a lot of vegetarian options - Fatoush, Tabbouleh, Cheese Sambousik, Hummus, Falafel, breads.“

“Went to the mall to do some last minute shopping and my husband came meet me to go to lunch. We were going to go for sushi but he needs the restroom so we walked to the food court to use the restroom when I saw one of the last few restaurants still open in the food court and we decided to go with Mr Shawarma as it smelt so GOOD. The lady behind the counter was very nice. We both ordered the beef kabobs with the hummus and pita bread. The plate came with a bed of rice which the kabobs were on the fresh hummus and a fresh salad grilled tomato and grilled onion. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. The price is not too bad specially when it cost almost $15 at McDonalds for a combo now“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “If you're in the mood for Mediterranean food; this is the place to go in Orange County. I eat here once a week and the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. This a fast casual establishment so you have to order at the register first and they bring your meal to the table when its ready. The staff at the register are always polite and will help you with the vast menu choices if needed. The kabobs and salads are outstanding and don't forget to try the delicious chicken soup which is freshly made every day. Portion sizes are generous as well. SO good. I had the eggplant special, but first I wanted to try something more adventurous. The spicy meatballs with marinara and sour cream (??) did not disappoint. The lentil soup... the (complimentary) baklava... salad, millet(?)... everything was superb.

Sorry to deduct for the atmosphere. I'm used to the country, I think. Actually, I'll put a star back, because the kitchen is all right in front of your face. They're not hiding.“

“Great food at a great price. Love the garlic potatoes appetizer. Then enjoyed the lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Had the baklava to go. I felt the restaurant had a Midwest supper club feel. Wait staff were knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. Will go back next time I’m in the area.“

“Ok so listen up. I am a real Arabic/Mediterranean guy, so I grew up with this food as a child and my Jordaniain mom makes it when I visit her.

PROS:

- This place is surprisingly excellent to get to the point.

- The employees are not Arabic, they are hispanic but they have good service and they are very good at getting the recipes correctly! They are great and understand the food.

- The portions are great. Do not change this!

- The quality of meat is good!

- The price is very reasonable. This costs the same as garbage fast food places (14 - 20$) but obviously this is real food and much better compared to garbage American food. Great price / value.

- Dining area is small, but cozy. It reminds me of many italian, arabic, etc. family owned restranauts which I grew up eating in.

CONS:

- Please add french fries to your menu. In the Middle East and Europe, it is very weird if a med/greek food place does not have French Fries. Add fries with Mediterranean seasoning. The spicy potatoes are very tasty however.

- Nothing else... Good job guys!

I will return to this place and bring friends! Keep it up and do not change anything for the worse!

The portions are so big and there was so much rice we didn't need the additional rice but it was so tasty so we didn't mind it. The iced tea was fresh-brewed and really delicious. Creme brûlée for dessert. A win for a birthday lunch!“
