We are not Vietnamese, so we cannot comment on the authenticity of the food. This review focuses on the flavor only - it is so good!We ordered #1, #2, and #9 (pork bone) and truly enjoyed every dish! My personal favorite is #1, a noodle soup with a mixture of meat. With a bit of hot sauce, the food was heavenly good! #9 is a must order; for $5, one got a big bowl of pork bones with a lot of meat. Went here today and got the Hu Tieu Hoang Thanh Xa Xiu w/ Shrimp togo. This was the tastiest hu Tieu I've ever had. Unforgettable broth flavor. I've been here once before and had their Bun Bo Hue (dined in) full flavored and rich broth. Definitely exceptional food and quality.
Phi Thuyền Restaurant serves delicious and flavorful dishes, including noodle soups and pork bone meals. The BBH and Bun Bo Huế are highly recommended, and the generous portions will leave you full. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and wonderful service, provided by a sweet family. With meals priced around $38 for two, it's a great value. Definitely worth a visit, even if the atmosphere feels a bit old-fashioned.
