“I like good food and when I review, I try and promote the best of what I have experienced. Last night a friend and I were off to the college to see a movie and experience the Q & A after. Willits doesn’t scream good food but I tried this place with a friend who heard great things, looking at it from the outside I was skeptical. This is a prime example of ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’. There was ample seating with some interesting pictures and art. Our hostess Terri greeted us with her Long Island accent and I was instantly transported back to my youth. She was forthcoming, open, honest and knowledgeable about the menu. The meatballs were giant and hearty, full of flavor. The bread was perfect and came with great dipping sauces. The Sugo with extra artichoke heats was a big hit. I chose penne Puttanesca extra spicy and I cannot rave enough about it. The only thing I missed was the cannoli, which I will break my no sweets diet. I’ll be back to try the pizza too, Terri said it was the closest to a New York pie you could get.
