“Pupusas are delicious! I’ve tried many different restaurants in the valley and this one by far takes it. They are off of Foothill Blvd (in front of the Vons) Tuesday-Sunday. Hours vary from 9:30. Very affordable and they have an area where you can sit and eat. Also very clean, gloves are used to prepare your food.“

“Parking is horrible. Not their fault. Their sweet bread is delicious. A lot of talking between the employees it's hard to hear when they are asking you a question. The bakery itself is very small. I haven't tried their food but the sweet bread is good.“

“The pupusas were delicious. They were the perfect thickness; there was plenty of filing, and the masa was not too thick. Cooked to perfection, they were not greasy at all. We enjoyed a nice selection of the different types offered. Our party included a Salvadoran who knows his pupusas. We also ordered a plate of rice, beans, and fried plantains. They were wonderful. We definitely will be going back. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy inside of the restaurant.“
“OMG this is the 3rd time in a week that i order the pollo en crema (chicken in cream) is so delicious, so testy, full in flavor, and convine with the rice and the black beans is and explosion of flavors in my mouth..... Really sweet and down to earth. The best place ever don’t eat the food from the streets when you can get wonderful food and service in this restaurant. Delicioso la mejor de la mejor . ??“

“Best hidden gem for Salvadorean food. Prices are extremely reasonable and they arguably have the best soups in LA: sopa de res, sopa de pollo and 7 mares. Pupusas are very delicious and made very well. Food comes out a bit slow but that's how you know they make it fresh.“

“Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“I loved the very delicious pupusas, well toasted without much oil, you have to order them before arriving at the restaurant about 30 minutes, otherwise you want to wait for them to be warm and delicious to eat. The chocolate was very sweet but with a little more milk it solves it. Thank you
Parking: The parking lot is small but adequate, if not full, it has an excellent location.“

“Oh, foods that I missed eating from my country and here I find them, even their seasoning is the same as mine, how funny he is, Salvador, it's good that here they haven't lost the reason for cooking, it's knowing that he doesn't just cook for a client, yes. not for someone in the family.“

“The people that are complaining about the customer service or the kid at the front are just straight being sensitive. I believe the kid is young and unexperience and also timid hes still learning as for the ladie in the kitchen she seem koo to me and besides she's working she can be communicating while cooking lol. As for the food is great! Best pupusas I tried so far. You can taste the love put in the food.“

“I give it a 4 stars because my 7 mares soup was missing seafood, even though it did taste very good. Their carne asada, to my taste, it could have tasted better. Their pupusas revueltas, definitely great. And the waitress was friendly with a smile on her face. ☺️ altogether the bill was $90. 4pupusas, 1siete mares and 1 carne asada plate and 3 drinks. You be the judge if it is pricey or just about right?.“
“(Translated by Google) Hey Salvadoran countrymen and Mexican Guatemalan brothers, etc. This is a recommended place to have a couple of friends, it has its own jukebox for music, delicious pupusas and in the afternoons when it's raw, a sopon removes raw meat or a good plate of roast beef(Original)Hey paisanos salvadoreños y hermanos guatemaltecos mexicanos etc recomendable el lugar para tomarse un parcito entre cuates tiene su propia rocola para la music ricas pupusas y por las tardes de cruda un sopon quita crudas o un buen plato de carne asada“
“The pupusas are good, the pata soup is given to you without any nerve and pansa, just vegetables and soup that taste good, but that's why I won't buy the plantain empanadas again, they are terrible, I had to throw them away, they should improve the quesadillas if they are good and the pupusas.“

“I went in 20 minutes before closing when you’d expect the worst service but actually I received the best service! After my terrible experience with Mi Casita on Vanowen and Kester, I came here as my last resort. My pupusas were filled with flavor and not dry at all, the sauce was great and the curtido could of been better it takes more refrigerated. They also sell charamuscas here and their horchata is the best. The ladies were extremely nice and I got my order in less than 15 minutes. I’m definitely coming back here!“

“I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I used to come here prior to the pandemic. Then I discovered a similar restaurant nearby that had a little bit more of a friendlier nicer atmosphere, but it closed down after the pandemic. I came back recently for the first time in a long time. The menu is very confusing and there are no prices listed anywhere. There really is no way to make a determination if you want to eat there or not since they do not have prices anywhere and basically only photos of menu items on the wall. There is no way to know if the employees are being honest in terms of what they are charging you. I got papusas which is what I came there for. They seemed a bit over priced in my opinion, but the meal was excellent with plenty of the cabbage "coleslaw" (with pepper in it too which I liked!) that is traditional with the meal, and the sauce was rather good too. They should invest in air conditioning instead of fans which sort of blows things away on the tables, such as your napkins, making the meal as challenging as if it was outdoors during Santa Ana winds (California, not El Salvador. Lol). I was slightly disappointed, but I have not ate out much since inflation has hit so maybe the prices are typical. The food was great so I guess that is what matters the most. Atmosphere inside was much improved with El Salvador images on the walls. I enjoyed the cultural pride presented inside the restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Communication is very poor here. No menu prices posted and no description of the menu items. I do not know if they have any vegan options, but you can get bean and cheese or squash and cheese papusas. Beans seemed to be vegetarian, but communication challenges prevented me from asking. This seems to a place for local people from El Salvador so the food was rather good. It would be helpful to dine with a Spanish speaking friend. This is a good small restaurant to support over the big chains. Support local small businesses like this one.“

“Delicious! Amazing food! Great service! My fish fillet with rice, beans and salad was very tasty. The scrambled pupusas also taste great.Passion fruit water tastes exactly as it should, not too sweet and not too sour, just the necessary flavor to refresh and quench thirst.Portions are very large, cater to the ferocious appetite, well I think so.The place is not very big, but the service is very good. I would definitely go back!!! test passed.“

“This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It’s nothing fancy. But for those who know, it seriously looks just like grandmas kitchen and has that at home feeling to it. The service is desperately terrible but none of any of that matters because the food is ridiculously amazing! If you enjoy Salvadoran cuisine, you can catch someone’s grandma in the kitchen making pupusas and they taste insanely authentic and possibly the best I have ever had hands down. I can wolf down 4 “Revueltas” or “Queso con Loroco” with cheese oozing out of the sides and burnt crispy in a bliss of goodness. The sauce and cabbage that goes on top is incredible. This place is as home made Salvadoran as you might ever get without traveling to the suburbs of San Salvador and sitting at someone’s grandmas kitchen table. This is a must stop for anyone craving a good pupusa!“

“I found this little gem of a restaurant by accident, and I love it. They feature Mexican/Salvadoran/Central American foods in a clean, efficient atmosphere. If you order the handmade tortillas, they will be the thicker variety common to El Salvador, but the thinner Mexican style are also available.I love the dish menudo, and here it is available daily, not just Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the restaurant features a bakery, and a selection of delicious pan dulce is offered daily. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. I will be back many times.“
“Got sopa de res, really yummy! Got enough and still 1/2 for later! with a side of rice, and hand made tortillas mmm Bit expensive (14$) but enough for lunch and dinner! Or for a very hungry person! Lol...the atol de elote..mmm...and the little almidon bread (3/ 1 dollar) mmm very satisfying dinner!! And dessert! Yes, I'm coming back again! And yes, I recommend! (It's a Salvadorian food place, with the usual, purposas, yuca con chicharron, etc etc...everything fresh and made when you order! So if you are in a hurry, call and order ahead!“

“Wonderful food! But more importantly, wonderful customer service. Ordered through doordash (little late night snack) and no dasher accepted the order. I called the resturant, 5 minutes before closing assuming they would just cancel my order. Instead they said we will drop it off ourselves! Not only did they deliver within 15 minutes, the included a couple sodas as an apology. GREAT experience with them will definitely be ordering again!!!“

“Wonderful spot to eat some delicious pupusas. We tried revueltas and also chicharrón with cheese, I personally liked the chicharrón ones better, the tamarindo water was really good as well, and the most important thing for me, the place looked clean and organized, the restroom was also very clean. They also have some Mexican plates so give it a shot.
The parking lot is a.bit small, but we found a few spots open.“

Definitely will come back hungry to try their loroco/ cheese pizza! I came in Monday around 5 pm and it wasn't too busy and we ate inside since it is too messy for car.“

“Very good food. For my taste, they have the best pupusas in the entire valley and a delicious chicken soup. The waitresses serve you very well and with respect. The only reason I give 4 stars is because they take a long time to bring you the food. I wish they could improve that.“
