“As an Austinite spending some time in California, it was wonderful to get a taste of home. The breakfast tacos are a hit, fantastic homemade tortillas, and most importantly the salsa was perfection. The service and staff were also incredible friendly. My favorite breakfast taco is the Don’t Mess With Texas and the Trinity. The Cookie Milk Iced Coffee is great too.“

It has that easygoing, welcoming vibe where you immediately know you can settle in and just enjoy the moment.
What stood out most during my visit was the consistency. The food arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as expected—but in a good way that speaks to reliability and care. The flavors were bold and satisfying, with that signature American grill style that Chili’s is known for. Everything felt well-balanced: hearty without being heavy, flavorful without being overwhelming.
The menu has a certain nostalgic charm to it. It offers comfort food classics that don’t try to reinvent the wheel, but instead focus on delivering familiar favorites in a dependable and enjoyable way. “I love Baja Fresh, my only complaint this time is we did an online order, I asked for a chicken taco and a steak taco for my daughter, I of course paid more for the steak, but when we got home we just had 2 chicken tacos. I'm not into examining the food while at the restaurant and this was covered in cheese so it was hard to tell until my daughter but into them both that there was no steak to be found. Just not taking the time to be sure the order is correct, it was a little disappointing. I got the Vegetable only Burrito Ultimo as usual, I just wish the vegetables were cut up a little smaller but it was good as usual.“

“I’ve been eating at Baja Fresh for over 20 years, and their bean and cheese burrito has always been a favorite—big, flavorful, and wrapped in a tortilla that just hits right every time. Their salsa bar is still top-notch. Honestly, I wish they sold this stuff at grocery stores.
We visited this location in February 2025, and the food tasted exactly as it should. But $10 for a bean and cheese burrito? Oof. Dropping $48 for three b&c burritos and two kids’ meals felt a little steep, but I guess that’s just the world we live in now.
The food took a few extra minutes to come out, but the real disappointment was that my 7-year-old didn’t finish their quesadilla. Even Moses had to pause for a moment of reflection. Double oof. Still, a solid experience and a good meal.“

“Food is always good and consistent, and this is a clean well run location. The only reason I am leaving this review is because of Alex. Alex elevates this place to another level. It feels like Alex knew me by name before I even walked in the first time. I’m not exaggerating when I say Alex has turned my whole day around and made it better several times. Alex is what makes this location worth coming back to again and again. You’re lucky if you have an Alex at your location, and I know it’s only a matter of time before Alex is doing bigger things, so I just wanted to take a minute to say Alex, you’re making people’s days better and I hope that it takes you as far as you want to go in life.“

“First time here. The Latino/American staff were very hospitable, informative and great. I the place was super clean. I got take out and decided to try their new Blackened Citrus fish bowl and oh boy! It was so delicious. Their salsas were so good and complimented my meal, well. I also tried their guacamole and it was made fresh, super good. Definitely coming back.“
