“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

“Even if the environment and location are a turn off, the food was worth it. I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. You are handed a heavy plate of food. The burger was hefty and the fries plentiful.

I'd definitely do the burger again, but skip the fries.“

Their menu had other items I would try if I was ever in the area again. They have NFL sunday ticket and have a good amount of TV's for the size of the place. “I love this place. They have amazing pizza. Have lived in the neighborhood for far over a decade and they have been a constant, consistently great. Hard to find a pizza place where the owner actually works the restaurant, day after day, and they know your name when you come in...they do. Definitely recommend for all in the neighborhood. Local spots like this are hard to find these days and I appreciate the great pizza and the personalized service of a pizza place where you feel like family, chit chatting about how much the kids have grown, as you wait.“

“I've been stopping here a couple times a week for breakfast or lunch. Probably ordered here about 30 or 40 times now. The sweet lady that runs the shop has always been so kind and friendly, no matter how busy she is! The food is always great, and she never forgets the napkins/utensils.

Although I haven't gotten anything here I didn't enjoy, out of everything I MUST recommend you try the yogurt parfait. I don't even like sweetened yogurt cups, but this homemade yogurt is better than anything I've ever tried. It's SO good, I start to crave some after a couple weeks without it. It's heavenly.

“We had a great experience at Katsu-ya. The atmosphere was modern, the service was prompt, and the overall quality of the fish and presentation were excellent. We especially loved the Spicy Crispy Rice and the Yellowtail Jalapeño—they were both fresh, expertly prepared, and definite highlights of the meal! The rest of the nigiri was fantastic as well.
The only item that didn't suit my personal preference was the Ikura (salmon eggs), which I found to be a little too fishy for my taste. This is completely subjective, as others may enjoy the strong flavor, but I'll skip it on my next visit.
Overall, this is a beautiful spot for high-quality sushi. I would definitely return!
