I ordered a tonkotsu ramen for dine-in ($15.73 with tax). You pick where you sit, and you will get served your food. I do love the amount of chashu pieces, but I think the chashu can be char for flavor. The broth is pretty salty, water cups are available. In terms of the size, there was enough noodles, toppings, protein in the ramen. Overall, a great place to get ramen or rice bowls or boba. As for the restroom, it is outside, make sure you the front counter for the code.“

“My husband was craving a seafood boil and we wanted to go to a nice restaurant in a nice area and this place was perfect. We ordered the Seafood Combo #1 with Shrimp, Crawfish, Mussels, Corn, Potato, Sausage, and we mixed all the sauces and medium spicy. We also ordered the Spicy Signature Jambalaya Fried Rice that was so amazing and delicious. It definitely had a kick! We look forward to returning here!“
“I’ve been going to open rice since undergrad and never had issues with food OR service. I recently moved to Sacramento and was in Davis so I decided to go to open rice. Idk who the new girls that are there if they were hired recently or since I’ve left Davis but their service was DISGUSTING. Not only did they ruin my order and I had to drive BACK from sac, she was rude on the phone when explaining my situation because SHE couldn’t hear my name. In addition, when I got there they still had an attitude as if messing up my order and me not being able to enjoy my food for almost an hour because I had to drive to and from to replace it. Didn’t offer an alternative or anything and just handed me back my food that was COLD so it had been sitting there. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry so I understand but this was BEYOND just rude like as if I was inconveniencing them.“
“This restaurant has the best service and food! We had all you can eat. We had several international students who were not good at English. The server was very kind and patient walking through the menu with them. The food was so delicious, and more importantly, it made our students so happy because the taste reminded them of their hometown! One of the girls said she loves sashimi back in her home country; theirs is one of the best she has ever tried! I love the eel over rice so much! It has the presentation and the taste! Fried oysters were amazing, too! Tender inside and crispy outside, perfect flavored. Definitely a go to place for a yummy meal and great time.“
“Recently ordered food from here for the first time, it was recommended to me by my coworker and if it wasn't for him I would have never discovered this spot. Korean food is my absolute favorite kind of food but often times it can be over priced sadly, however kuji has very affordable prices in comparison to other Korean restaurants and the food quality is very good. Their portions are enough to share with two people in my opinion. The stone pot bibimbap has always been one of my favorite Korean dishes and the one they offer at kuji definitely did not disappoint. They're spicy pork is delicious just a tad oily but when eaten with rice and some kimchi it really all ties in together. Their bulgogi japchae is super yummy as well, don't have very many complaints about this place, if anything I wish they offered soups that would definitely be nice. They're service was great I have no complaints in the area, as for the ambiance it's a little hot inside but to make up for it they have outdoor seating. I definitely look forward to dinning at this restaurant again and trying the other foods that they have to offer.“
